You’re a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Consultant, (and also an author,) for individuals, VIPs, and Corporate clients alike. Can you tell us more about your work and how you ended up where you are today?

I actually started off my working career as a Secondary school Geography teacher in the UK. In 2007 I was awarded the National Teacher of the Year Award. This was then followed by living and working overseas for over 5 years working for the United Nations and the British Council. I lived in Cairo, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Paris, and then St. Malo in France. It was while I was overseas living in Paris that I initially set up my hypnotherapy business 'Paris St. Cloud'. I had been practising hypnotherapy for years and had trained as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in the UK. I had also trained and now work with Paul McKenna and Dr. Richard Bandler assisting them in the UK and USA at VIP events and seminars. I would often commute between Paris and London to assist with Paul McKenna in London. And so I decided that at that time Paris was the perfect location for my business. I was meeting many people who were asking for help. And then in November 2015 the terror attacks, including the attacks on the Bataclan, in Paris, happened. People in Paris, and around the world were suffering. And I felt that I could offer something to help many people. Two years later I moved from Paris back to the UK and set up the 'Harley Street Therapy Clinic' which is now a thriving practice in London, and I also have a clinic in Manchester, UK, as well as one on Fifth Avenue, New York City, USA. I provide Clinical Hypnotherapy and Consultancy for people suffering from addiction, trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression, amongst other issues and a range of other mental health disorders including eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa. I also help individuals and corporate clients gain and boost their confidence, and motivation, build resilience, self-esteem, and more.

To this day I am still a part of Paul McKenna's (UK Hypnotist and TV personality) and Dr. Richard Bandler's trainer team, assisting them in London, UK, and the USA running events and seminars for VIPs and a range of global clients worldwide. I am described as a much trusted and highly valued part of their assistant trainer team, as well as a dedicated and highly sought-after Clinical Hypnotherapist. I am incredibly fortunate to have a business doing what I love, helping people, and helping them transform their lives for the better.

I also work with clients from The Priory Hospital, and the Maudsley Hospital, South London (SLaM), many of who have returned home after long residential stays of a year or more in hospital or rehabilitation.

I am also a trainer, professional qualifications provider, and supervisor, for future therapists and practitioners.

As well as being a writer/resident therapist for several magazines, publications, journals, and professional bodies, I have also published my own book which helps people to transform their own lives from the comfort of their homes.

You are doing so many different things. Everything from running a private practice, workshops, seminars, and host retreats. If you must choose, which is the most fun?

Hypnotherapy retreats are lots of fun because people are away from their usual routines, places of work, and location. And so it mostly feels like a holiday for them. Although in reality, they are working very hard on their inner selves, making changes and transforming their lives. It just doesn't, nor should it, feel like hard work to them. They are simply enjoying themselves and having fun. It is often only when clients return home that they truly grasp and realise what significant changes, and lasting impacts they have made on their lives.

Is there something special that keeps you motivated?

Yes, it is during hypnosis sessions with clients when I see the 'change' and transformation take place within a client. As a hypnotist and hypnotherapist, I initially calibrate with my client so that later I am able to recognise the anatomical and neurological changes in their body. I am able to detect the physical signs in a client which show when the subconscious mind has made the change and when the person's neurology and brain have been reset and reprogrammed. It is at that moment that transformation has occurred. It is an extremely subtle and powerful moment. And when I see it I know my work is done. It is a magical moment and an amazing feeling both for myself and the client.

Have you encountered any major challenges during your journey and how have these affected you?

About 20 years ago I had a serious ski accident and after several years of intense surgery and treatment, I was told that I would never walk again. At the time I was devastated and didn't know what the future would hold. This propelled me to use the power of my own mind to prove the surgeons wrong and to go on to fully recover, to walk, and to travel the world, and to create a business that helps other people make their own miracles too and transform their lives to living their own dream lives.

I now walk, dance, play, have fun, and I have an inspirational business helping hundreds of people around the world create their own miracles and live the life of their dreams.

And I am now a two-time Global Award Winner for my dedication to helping people and for my efforts in therapy and mental health work. I have been awarded the CREA Global Award and the Global 500 award, alongside other notable people, including the incredible Oprah Winfrey.

For those who do not know what Hypnotherapy is, can you tell us a little about it?

I use Clinical Hypnotherapy. It is a therapy that is used when the client is in a deep trance, a state of hypnosis.

Our conscious minds often get in the way of our healing, our desires, and even get in the way of what is good for us and our best interests. And so it is only when we are in a state of hypnosis, a deeply relaxed state, that we can move away from our conscious mind. It is here where the unconscious mind takes over. And it is here where change really occurs. It is here where healing happens. It is here where we create our dreams and desires. And it is here where we serve ourselves the best. It is here where transformation happens. And it is here where our neural pathways are born and reborn, where our mind is reset, and where our brain is reprogrammed. When we 'come back' from hypnosis, and are back in reality with our conscious minds, our patterns will have changed, we will have changed, we will do better, we will think better, we will be better, and our lives will be transformed.

Who needs Hypnotherapy?

Great question: Anyone and everyone. That is what I have learned over the years. Whoever you are, no matter how successful, how famous, how rich, how happy you are, everyone has issues or problems at some stage in our lives. We can all do better, feel better, be happier, be calmer, more confident, more resilient, more content, more motivated, feel freer, find our freedom, and so on.

I have been so fortunate to be a therapist/consultant/mentor to hundreds of amazing people around the world including Governments, Officials in the Whitehouse, USA, American Government Officials, VIPs, Diplomats, Celebrities including pop stars, rappers, music producers, sports personalities and global athletes, Silicon Valley Tech Gurus, Creators of our modern tech & the virtual world we all know and use, red carpet royalty, NYC fashion designers, personalities of TV, Film, Fashion, Music, Producers, NYC celebrities and red carpet royalty, & more...

So whoever you are, and wherever you are, both in life and in the world, we can all benefit and excel from Clinical Hypnotherapy.

I work globally with people worldwide, both face to face, and virtually online too.

Your new book has an incredible title: 'Source Your Inner Jet-pack. Rapid Transformations for Life's Jetsetters'. Can you tell us a little more about the book?

The title initially came from the type of people I was working with, my clientele: Jetsetters, VIPs, and high profile clients. However, as the book developed, it became a book for everyone. Whoever and wherever you are.

Anyone can read it and follow the step by step techniques and strategies within the pages to find freedom and change their own lives.

It is a book about finding your own freedom and transforming your life!

The book is of 4 parts. Each chapter has 4 elements within it.

Within each chapter, there is a theme/issue/area of people's lives that we can all improve/make better / transform. And in each chapter there is a true story of my own experiences and adventures from life and living around the world, and how I made a change or transformation in that area of life, or around a particular issue. Then also in each chapter, there is a client story of how one of my own clients made a change or a transformation in that particular area of their life. These are 'anonymous' client stories and client case studies of how they made that change. And then finally within each chapter, there is also a technique or strategy that the 'reader' can use and practice themselves at home to make a similar change or transformation for themselves in their own life.

It really is a book about adventure, fun, happiness and living life to the full!

So, what’s the next big goal or project for Rebecca and how can someone get in contact with you?

A new book...

And...

During the Covid-19 Global Pandemic, I donated my services freely to all doctors, nurses and medical staff working in hospitals and ICU departments in hospitals around the world.

During the pandemic and Lockdown, I also provided additional Free Online services including Free Coaching courses for 'Resilience and Wellbeing in Lockdown' as well as free services for NHS doctors and nurses in the UK.

I will continue to do this in 2022.

Moreover, I have also been conducting my own clinical research study and clinical trials working with and treating patients suffering from Long Covid.

There is no other such study taking place in the world. It is unique and one of a kind. It is the first of its kind globally and is at the forefront of therapy and innovation, described as a flagship and ground-breaking research study.

This has been followed by my own uniquely devised programme of therapeutic techniques and treatment plans for patients and clients, and a series of workshops, seminars, and training programmes, training therapists, medical practitioners, doctors, and hypnotherapists in the treatment of Long Covid patients and sufferers.

As a result, I am now the CEO and Founder of the 'Long Covid Therapy Institute', Harley Street London, UK.

My next book will be about surviving the pandemic and will focus on Long Covid and how we can build our lives back better after Covid and Long Covid.

It is another inspirational book with simple and straightforward solutions on every single page!
