Magda Kay, Intimacy Expert
Tell us about yourself and what you do.
My name is Magda Kay, and I'm an Intimacy Expert. I specialize in helping individuals cultivate deeper connections and experience more love. Through a blend of psychology and tantra, I offer a distinctive perspective on fundamental aspects of the human experience: relationships, sexuality, and love.
What inspired you to pursue this line of work?
We often find our biggest gifts in our biggest struggles.
Raised without any positive examples of love, I grew up cynical about relationships. It wasn't until I was 27 that I entered my first significant relationship, which ended in heartbreak, leaving me shattered and struggling with depression. This experience prompted me to delve into alternative healing modalities, such as energy work and yoga, as a means of coping and healing.
That relationship made me confront some deep sexual issues I had been avoiding. After the heartbreak, I knew I had to face it. I dove into tantra and sexual healing to work through it. Honestly, it started out as just me trying to heal myself. But pretty soon, I realized how much people were struggling with similar issues, so I started sharing what I was learning with others. And this is how it all began.
Who do you work with?
I work with both men and women, singles and couples. Regardless of gender, sexual orientation or a relationship status, we all need love, pleasure and intimacy.
What is the primary mission or vision behind your business?
Our society often stigmatizes intimacy, though it’s a fundamental human need essential for our well-being. This results in suppression and leads to loneliness and mental health struggles. I'm passionate about challenging these taboos and creating a space where people can openly discuss topics like sex, relationships, and self-love without fear or shame.
We live in a very interesting period, where we’re redefining gender roles, what a relationship is and dating rules. That leaves many people confused and unable to find a partner. On the other hand, we’re also seeing more and more individuals who prefer being single. I believe that intimacy isn't limited to romantic partnerships; it extends to all our connections, including the one we have with ourselves. Rather than solely focusing on finding romantic partners, my goal is to help individuals cultivate more love and fulfillment in all aspects of their lives.
My intention is give people a safe space to ask questions we are too shy to ask, to talk about sex, relationships, self-love or lack of. I want to show people it is ok to desire and ask for intimacy, and how to do it in healthy way. Because the one thing we can’t hack, and no pill will ever fix, is our need for connection.
Can you provide an overview of the services you offer?
There is something for everyone! For those who prefer personalized attention, I provide one-on- one sessions, both online and in-person, tailored to individual requirements.
For individuals invested in personal growth and continuous learning, we offer an extensive collection of online courses within our membership platform, The School of Intimacy. These courses cover a variety of topics aimed at enhancing intimacy and fulfillment in relationships.
I recently released my debut book titled "No More Faking It: A Woman's Guide to Getting the Love, Pleasure, and Fulfillment She Deeply Desires." Available in print, digital, and audio formats, this book is a valuable resource particularly aimed at women, offering insights that can transform their approach to love and relationships. It's a must-read for anyone seeking deeper connections and fulfillment in their love life.
You often work with businesses. In what way do you provide value for them? / You frequently collaborate with businesses. How do you contribute value to them?
Many of my clients are CEOs whose demanding schedules leave little room for nurturing their personal relationships. This often leads to marriage problems or inability to find a partner. It's great to see companies prioritize the well-being of their executives by incorporating my intimacy coaching into their employee benefit packages.
Additionally, I frequently speak at business conferences. Understanding psychology of relationships isn’t just indispensable to have a fulfilling intimate life, but it’s also essential to run a successful company. After all, companies exist thanks to their customers, or even more specifically – the relationship they have with their customers.
As someone with business background and a MA in Management,
I possess a unique ability to bridge intimacy coaching with business needs. This allows me to support business in cultivating healthier relationships and thrive professionally.
Could you share any success stories or testimonials from clients who have benefited from your services? Can you share any success stories or testimonials from clients who have benefited from your services?
Certainly! I've had the privilege of witnessing remarkable transformations in my clients' lives. One couple I worked with hadn't been intimate for over a decade before seeking my help. After a few sessions together, they were able to reignite their physical connection and are now enjoying a fulfilling relationship.
Another area I'm passionate about is supporting young parents. Last year alone, I was able to prevent three couples from divorcing during what is often a challenging period in their lives.
Knowing that I've helped create healthier homes for these families, especially for the sake of their children, is incredibly rewarding.
Recently, I had a client who came to me for support during her divorce while simultaneously facing intense challenges at work. Utilizing the "four power centers method" outlined in my book, "No More Faking," she made significant decisions about the merger of her company. The tools I use are really that powerful, and can be used in other aspects of life.
Looking ahead, what are your plans for the continued growth and expansion of Magda Kay LP's business, and are there any upcoming projects or initiatives that you're particularly excited about?
This year I’m launching my holistic sexuality certification program—an advanced training designed for professionals, including relationship coaches, therapists, and psychologists. Having worked in this field for over a decade, I've observed a significant gap in properly trained professionals equipped to address issues surrounding sexuality and intimacy. Many clients have sought my services after their therapist felt too uncomfortable or lacked expertise in this area to help them.
Our certification program aims to fill this void by providing comprehensive training that empowers professionals to effectively navigate sensitive topics related to human sexuality. I'm incredibly excited about this initiative—it's a one-of-a-kind training opportunity that I believe is long overdue in our industry.
If you could change one thing about your industry, what would it be and why?
While I'm encouraged by the growing openness surrounding discussions on sexuality and the increasing number of coaches focusing on relationships and intimacy, there's still a prevalent issue within the industry. Most professionals possess a limited understanding of the true depth of human sexuality.
From my experience, many people only scratch the surface, experiencing perhaps 30% of what's truly possible. Traditional sexology often overlooks the essential non-physical aspects of sexuality, relegating it to a mere physiological function. This reductionist approach fails to capture the magical and transformative essence of human sexuality and intimate connections. While science may struggle to quantify or explain it, the reality of energy sex and energy orgasm is undeniable to those who have experienced it.
I advocate for a more holistic approach to sexuality—one that embraces the energetic and spiritual dimensions alongside the physical. Through initiatives like my certification program, I hope to shift the paradigm within our industry and empower professionals to adopt a more expansive and inclusive perspective on human sexuality and intimacy.
What advice would you give to individuals who want to improve their intimate life? What is the easiest thing anyone can start doing? What advice would you give to individuals who want to improve their intimate life? What is the easiest thing anyone can start doing?
The first and most crucial step is to prioritize your intimate life. Often, we treat our sexuality as a separate compartment in our lives—a room we visit less frequently while spending most of our time in the living room or bedroom. However, our intimate life isn't just a part of our lives; it's the foundation upon which everything else rests. It's interconnected with and influences every aspect of our lives.
Individuals with healthy sexuality tend to be happier, healthier, and more energetic. They exhibit greater creativity and productivity. Conversely, suppressed or blocked sexuality can lead to frustration and dissatisfaction.
To improve your intimate life, start by recognizing its importance and investing in it—whether through time, energy, or money. There's much to learn about sexuality, so educate yourself and be willing to practice and experiment. Just like any other aspect of life, improvement requires investment and effort. Remember, you can improve, and for many of us, it's essential that we do.
