The initial moments of intimacy
As an infant, your cries for nourishment and affection might have been met with loving care. Even when this is not the case, during diaper changes, nudity was not just a practical matter; it was a moment filled with curiosity and exploration. You shamelessly touched your genitals and were connected with your body, your soul, and your emerging sexuality.
Life, for you, was hopefully a magical and wondrous experience. You expressed yourself freely, laughed, cried, and screamed without inhibition.
In your toddler years, just like my own son, you might have imagined yourself in unique jobs. For example, you could have pretended to be a garbage collector, enjoying the idea of standing on the back of the garbage truck and feeling the wind rush by as the truck sped down the highway, giving you that feeling of pure magic and freedom.
Where your innocence became your burden and guilt
However, as you grew, the world around you transformed. The innocence and wonder of your early years began to fade as you encountered distrust, pain, and rejection. You learned to associate physicality with discomfort and danger. Society discouraged and condemned your curiosity about your own body and interactions with your genitals. The carefree magic of your formative years was gradually replaced with self-consciousness, leading you to feel ugly, not recognized, fat, skinny, tall, short, and ultimately invisible.
You adjusted your voice, and your demeanor, and suppressed your emotions. Guilt, shame, and judgment became part of your existence. It traveled with you into all layers of life, including your business.
The benefits of bringing back that innocent child
This innocent baby still exists in you. Reconnecting with your inner child can breathe new life into your business endeavors and make it playful and magical again. Playfulness keeps the vibes and energy high in the company and opens the door for more business growth.
