Share a bit about your journey so far. How did you end up where you are today in your career? What made you become a detox coach?


My journey into holistic healing began 20 years ago with practices like Reiki and Guasha Therapy. I've always been fascinated by health and vitality from a young age. Whether it was staying fit through sports, exploring the world of supplements, or being mindful of my food intake, I was deeply invested in understanding how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I also had a keen interest in the mind, thought patterns, and human behavior.

 

When both of my parents passed away due to medical interventions, I developed a profound interest in understanding how the body works and its systems. How do we maintain health and vitality? What works best for your body? Which method? This quest led me to the teachings of Dr. Morse, whose explanations of diseases and food were revelatory. He answered questions that no doctor could, and his insights changed my life.

 

I began studying his philosophy at the International School of Healing Arts and Sciences. I completed Detoxification Level 1, then Advanced to Level 2, and finally studied Lymphatic Iridology, a crucial part of this detoxification approach. Because iridology offers a unique insight into the human body, this reveals the degree of problems on a cellular level, genetics, and fluid dynamics—areas often overlooked by traditional medicine. This makes iridology an invaluable tool, accessible to anyone, even children, to understand the state of the body's soft tissue. It allows us to identify health challenges and track improvements after detoxification.

 

After completing my studies, I launched a webshop in the Netherlands. Now, five years later, we have become the largest European webshop specializing in Dr. Morse herbal products. We offer educational materials, a diverse selection of detox tools, personalized herbal detox protocols, and coaching. At NutritionVision, our mission is to share this knowledge and these exceptional products with as many people as possible, promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.


What kind of audience do you target your business towards?

In your experience what are the common misconceptions about your industry?


In today's fast-paced world, people often expect quick fixes for their health issues, including detox. Many believe that all health problems will vanish within a week or two. However, the discomforts and ailments we experience often result from years of accumulated toxins, and it takes time for the body to cleanse and heal.

 

Our modern lifestyle makes it challenging to be patient with ourselves and our bodies beyond a short detox period. We tend to focus solely on finding immediate solutions to health problems rather than addressing their root causes. I frequently remind my clients that unless they honestly investigate and understand what caused their health issues, they'll continue to "put out fires" in their bodies and wonder why these problems persist.

 

Many get lost in the pharmaceutical maze, relying on pills for every ailment, which often leads to new health issues. It's crucial to grow your awareness, take ownership of your health, and dedicate your focus, willpower, mindset, and determination to get well during a detox period. Remember, detoxification is a journey, not a quick fix, and patience and persistence are key to achieving lasting health.

 

You offer coaching to clients who are on a detox as well. Next to advice on which herbal formulas to take, you teach your clients about the importance of a positive mindset. How important is the right mindset during a detox?

 

As a detox and mindset coach, I understand that having the right mindset is crucial for an effective detox, especially when you're on this journey for an extended period. A powerful mindset means growing awareness of your thoughts and recognizing which are positive and helpful versus those that sabotage your progress. This awareness is key to achieving any goal in life, whether it’s related to health, career, relationships, or finances.

 

Our belief systems have been ingrained in us since infancy, influenced by parents, education, media, and mentors. Many of these beliefs no longer serve us. To reach our full potential, we must examine and adapt these beliefs, upgrading them to become a better version of ourselves. Through daily affirmations, meditation, visualization exercises, and journaling, we can transform old belief systems into a powerful self-image. Increased confidence leads to greater focus and consistency, which are essential elements of success.

 

Detoxification is a journey inward, affecting not just the body but also the mind. Remember, the body follows the mind. Whatever you believe you can or cannot do, you are right. A positive mindset is crucial during detox. Positive, loving, and encouraging thoughts help the body detox better, deeper, and faster, leading to rejuvenation. Conversely, a cycle of negative thinking, mixed with feelings of unworthiness, can slow down the detox process, resulting in inconsistent progress.

 

This mental shift can be challenging for many of my clients, which is why having a coach is so important. A coach provides guidance, moral support, and a deeper understanding of what happens in your body and mind during a cleanse. With this support, you’ll feel empowered and strong enough to continue your detox journey with confidence.

 

What is the hardest part of your job and what makes you happiest about doing it?


One of the hardest parts of my job is working with clients who have already seen numerous health practitioners, visited hospitals, and undergone various treatments, often relying heavily on medications without seeing good results. Many of them have even gotten worse after medical interventions. They come to detoxification as a last resort, filled with high hopes.

 

It’s a challenge to help them honestly examine the role they’ve played in their suffering and to understand that detoxification is not a quick fix. It involves retracing steps on the road that led them to this point, to heal and rebuild tissue in the body. However, once they commit to this path, beautiful things start to happen.

 

There is nothing more rewarding than talking to clients who have done the work and are seeing amazing results. Witnessing them regain the zest for life, new energy, and a healthy body is of immeasurable importance to them. In those moments, I realize why I do what I do.

When considering a detox, the most crucial aspect to understand is the importance of a diet change. This can also be the most challenging part for many people. You simply cannot achieve wellness on the same diet that made you sick. Adopting a new, healthier lifestyle is essential.

 

Switching to an all-raw diet in steps is the most effective approach. Gradually transitioning to more raw foods and incorporating more living foods like fruits into your daily eating habits is key. Moving away from processed foods, salts, oils, sugars, grains, and animal products and embracing a diet rich in vegetables and fruits is the best choice for our health.

 

Consuming high-electrical, living foods will significantly boost your energy levels and overall well-being. No other food on the planet offers the same cleansing and healing effects as fruits. By embracing these dietary changes, you'll set the foundation for a successful and transformative detox journey.
