Living with pain can eat away precious moments, driving you into a place of no return. When coping intelligently with the emotional side of pain, the same can act as a catalyst in mindset transformation. However, pain alone can fail in sustaining a momentum throughout the journey. Building a momentum of hope while progressing into mindset transformation can shift your mood progressively in a positive manner. Fear-based motivation can influence the change on self-preservation.

Nonetheless, this method of stirring change can be effective for one-time or short-term behaviour changes, only. The drawbacks from fear-based motivation tactics are: triggering hopelessness, inefficient performance, and poor mental health. Applying different motivation catalysts during the mindset transformation process is ensuring smoother transition and lesser dissatisfaction. Another aspect of mindset transformation is enforcing your strong conviction on questions like – what are the reasons behind the mindset transformation? Asking deeper analytical questions, like: What is the benefit you foresee from such transformation? How is life looking like after applying the change you are seeking? What kind of feelings you will be experiencing? How much important this transformation can act toward a certain prosperity you are aiming for? Resisting mindset transformation can be driven from: lack of knowledge, mistrusting the process, lacking an authentic purpose, poor communication lines, no link to reality, preferring comfort over change, low self-confidence and not prioritizing the condition of your thoughts. A strong resisting point against mindset transformation is an inflated ego.

Egotism is a defensive reaction reflected by the subconscious mind to demonstrate a false image of importance, or inadequacy. Sayings like, Why would I change at this age, Will this ever work for me, I am not sure if I am capable enough to change, I think I am comfortable where I am in right now, Better be around a place I am familiar with rather than facing the unknown, At least I know how to deal with the current situation, changing might make me lose control over so many factors, Don’t even try – I was born like that. Remember, those sayings are only stopping you from progressing into the next chapter with a greater possibility.

However, in today’s article we demonstrate the three motivators in the mindset transformation journey

1. The envisioning of courage toward change

Mindset transformation is your journey toward self-discovery, empowerment and alleviation in life. However, every change requires: – commitment, discipline and effort from your end. During the earlier stages of the journey – you are replacing a fixed mindset with a growth mindset. With growth mindset a challenge is seen as a stepping stone persistently progressing through continuous effort and learning. Envisioning courage can fill you with a passionate desire to see yourself rising above the bad taste of yesterday. When you start visualizing courage you start to experience freedom of will, capability, enthusiasm, and determination. Emphasizing courage can catalyze the progression of the transformation.

Statements like: Right now, I am pursuing the goals that sit healthy in my timeline, and helps me forward to live life with a happy open heart. I am now educated and aware more than yesterday that letting go of negative matters that is draining and restricting in nature is intolerable and should go for good. I choose to rise above negativity that is dragging my general wellbeing and psyche into risk. I choose to live life with peace, love and creativity in all aspects of my life. Empowering positive feelings – like courage can highlight the reward you will reap from sustaining and developing throughout the journey. At this place, you are strongly convinced that your daily struggle can reap the rewards. Not only that – with courage you can bolster your self-esteem, fight fear and sidestep guilt and regret. A courageous character has an empowering effect on beating hurdles, rising above your weakness, and stirring difference in your daily routine.

2. Averting from the discomfort of frustration

Frustration can be a catalyst for change urging you to leap forward toward a better way of living. Frustration feels like a mixture of impatience, irritation, high expectation, and annoyance. Frustration can show up every time high expectation clashes with reality. Continuous discomfort from frustration may inspire the adaption of change as growing through experiences, maintaining mental health, and seeking new opportunities. Thus, a frustrated inner voice is urgently calling you to outgrow a fixed mindset that has failed to serve a current situation. The two prominent pillars in overcoming frustration are: perseverance and resilience.

Through perseverance you are overcoming the dissatisfaction as combating the awkwardness of pent-up emotions. At this corner, resilience can imply flexing your abilities with life’s different scenarios as intelligent surviving skills. Frustration is a motivating agent against stagnation, denial, depression, and loss. A congested mind and a frustrated body could leak out as aggressive tantrum, disorganized rush, impulsiveness, and anger. The innate reasoning for frustration occurs when the mental expectation toward situations is pre-conditioned into a specific template. In here – you are preconditioning how your mind should perceive matters, a slight diversion is not acceptable, leaving no space for flexibility. When you base all your life on what should or shouldn’t be, you raise the bar of expectation inside your mind. Accepting life’s different situation can flex your mind to reframe the old beliefs and capitalize it into intelligent possibilities of living. At this level, training your inner voice in avoiding restrictive words/statements like: this shouldn’t be hard, the plan should work this way, why is this happening to me, I don’t deserve this, life should treat me fair. Questions that start with “why” Can buildup frustration within your looping thoughts leading you to fail short in finding an exit. The proof behind every question starting with “why” is a failing logic. Questions with why is difficult to answer for not finding the many facets of the truth. Hence, not every why questions can be answered smoothly, which can lead to reframe the manner you approach reality.

3. Leveling up your effort from boredom

The overwhelming monotonous routine can make you lose the excitement of living life with a spark. Losing excitement can turn your daily routine into a meaningless cycle. Boredom may feel like loss of joy, and passion. If you are running a non-stop cycle of routine, you are experiencing stagnation. In feelings, stagnation is a slow blocking force leading to suffocation. Only determination and effort can distract the gloom of boredom. With determination you are fueling your goals with unbeatable effort in overcoming the dull lull of routine.

Enhancing determination can be framed creatively on: Setting clear goals, continuous knowledge, learning from experiences, and living mindfully. Longer period of comfort may outburst dissatisfaction as: boredom, procrastination, the preference of comfort, and stagnation. The comfort of the known can influence living by the belief: Living in a known circumstance is better than the uncertain chaos. Reminding yourself of boredom symptoms may signal an early detection of the stagnant energy. If you had your fill in any matter of your life, change is an exciting agent toward a newer chapter. However, many overrides this feeling by preferring the comfort of the known. Nevertheless, leveling up can be influenced through welcoming new experiences, and creating your own distraction moments. Practicing creative endeavors in small doses can stimulate excitement throughout the day.
