Can you tell us more about your journey and what led you to this path?

I was born the first child of immigrant parents who arrived in the U.S. in the 1970s, and from an early age, I witnessed firsthand the resilience and sacrifice it took to build a life from scratch.

Growing up, I naturally stepped into the role of a caregiver, helping with my family’s daycare business. Nurturing others was not just something I did. It was woven into the fabric of who I was.

Looking back, I can see that my gift for mentorship and teaching began long before I ever stepped into a classroom. It was there in the way I cared for my younger sibling, in the way I guided the children around me, and in the way I instinctively understood the emotions and struggles of others. Teaching, for me, has never been just a career. It is a calling. Whether mentoring young minds or guiding seasoned professionals through creative and emotional roadblocks, I have always found myself in the role of a guide, a nurturer, and a catalyst for transformation. It is an ongoing journey, one that continues to evolve as I walk alongside those who seek clarity, confidence, and creative freedom.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?

One of my proudest ventures, one that continues to evolve, is helping students break free from stagnation and reclaim their creative brilliance by finding practices that truly fit their lifestyle and needs. Through a fusion of breathwork, mindfulness, and artistic exploration, I have had the privilege of guiding hundreds of creatives back to their voice, their vision, and their purpose.

But my work does not stop in the classroom or the studio. I have extended my teachings beyond structured programs, offering outreach that touches lives in unexpected ways, whether it is supporting young artists struggling with self-doubt, guiding executives toward balance and clarity, or helping communities integrate mindfulness into their daily lives. I am also deeply committed to serving nonprofits, such as a program I recently held for the Designers for Disaster Relief organization, offering support for LA fire relief efforts and using my expertise to help those in crisis. To me, growth is not a destination but a lifelong unfolding, and I remain devoted to walking alongside others on this ever-evolving path to self-discovery.

What inspires your work?

I am driven by the belief that creativity and mindfulness are two sides of the same coin. When we are present, we tap into the limitless creative force within us. My work is inspired by those who seek transformation, whether it is an artist stuck in a creative block, an entrepreneur seeking clarity, or a student overwhelmed by stress. Seeing their breakthroughs fuels my passion every day. I also draw deep inspiration from Taoist philosophy, which teaches the art of flowing with life’s currents rather than resisting them. This open-ended wisdom reminds me that creativity and mindfulness are not rigid disciplines but fluid experiences, an ever-shifting dance between action and stillness, effort and surrender. It is within this delicate balance that true transformation unfolds.

What is your mission and purpose?

Instead of just making mindfulness and self-expression accessible to everybody, my mission is to make them embodied, lived, and fully integrated into the way people experience themselves and the world around them. It is not just about having access to these tools; it is about knowing how to use them in a way that truly shifts perspective, unlocks inner freedom, and transforms daily life.

I want to help people not only learn about mindfulness but feel it in their bones, where stress dissolves in the presence of awareness, where creative expression flows effortlessly because fear no longer holds the reins, and where self-doubt is replaced by a deep trust in one's own voice and vision. It is about moving beyond knowing into being, so that mindfulness is not just a practice but a way of existing, and self-expression is not just an activity but a way of showing up in the world, unapologetically and fully alive.

What is your business and how do you help your clients?

My company, Inner Design, centers around creating courses, workshops, and coaching programs that blend mindfulness with creative exploration. Through The Creative Reset, Mindfulness Through the Lens, and my upcoming book Heart-Breath Resonance, I equip individuals with practical tools to regulate stress, enhance emotional resilience, and unlock their creative potential. I have designed these courses specifically for creatives, ranging from high school students navigating self-expression to high-performing professionals seeking clarity and alignment. Each module is thoughtfully crafted to meet the distinct needs of those I work with, whether it is executives overcoming burnout, artists reigniting their passion, or students discovering their creative voice.

Beyond structured programs, I also offer personalized life coaching and breathwork experiences, helping individuals integrate mindfulness into their daily lives. By transforming personal practices, my work extends outward, fueling innovation in businesses, fostering deeper self-awareness in individuals, and empowering communities to embrace creativity as a pathway to well-being.

What sets your approach apart from others in the industry?

Many mindfulness programs focus solely on relaxation, while creative programs emphasize output. My approach integrates both, recognizing that inner stillness fuels outer expression. I offer a holistic framework that not only reduces stress but also enhances self-expression and innovation.

What challenges do your clients commonly face, and how do you help them?

Whether they are entrepreneurs, artists, or professionals, they often feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, or burnout. Through mindfulness techniques and guided creative exercises, I help them shift from stagnation to flow, reconnecting with their natural rhythm and authentic voice.

What are your current goals for your business?

I am currently working on expanding my mindfulness programs into digital courses, making them accessible to a global audience. Additionally, I am developing a certification program for educators and coaches who want to integrate mindfulness-based creative practices into their own work.

Beyond mindfulness and creativity, I recognize the profound connection between physical well-being and mental clarity. By helping individuals create a personalized nutritional plan, I ensure they have the fuel needed for mental clarity, emotional balance, and overall well-being.

If you could change one thing about your industry, what would it be?

I would love to see a deeper integration of mindfulness into mainstream education and corporate structures. Too often, creative fields and mindfulness are treated as separate disciplines when, in reality, they complement each other beautifully. By recognizing the role of self-awareness in innovation, we can foster more sustainable creativity.

What common misconceptions do people have about mindfulness and creativity?

One major misconception is that mindfulness is just about relaxation. While relaxation is a byproduct, the true power of mindfulness lies in its ability to build resilience, awareness, and deeper creative insight. Similarly, many believe that creativity is reserved for artists when, in truth, it is a fundamental part of problem-solving and self-expression in any field.

For those feeling inspired by this conversation, what is the next step they can take to begin their own journey?

To me, the path of self-discovery is not about arriving. It is about attuning, about remembering. Creativity, mindfulness, and breath are not things we master; they are rhythms we return to again and again. Whether you are navigating uncertainty, seeking clarity, or simply yearning to feel more alive in your work and presence, the answers are not outside of you. They are waiting in the quiet spaces, in the breath, in the stillness between thoughts.

But here is the thing. This journey is not meant to be walked alone. The shifts you are seeking, the breakthroughs that feel just out of reach, do not come from effort alone. They come from resonance, from the right conversation, the right moment of insight, the right space where you feel seen, understood, and deeply supported.

This is your invitation. To step into that space. To unravel what has been holding you back. To reconnect with the unique expression that has always been yours.

If something inside you is stirring, if you feel the pull but do not quite know where to begin, reach out. Let us start the conversation. Whether through breath, movement, creative flow, or stillness, there is a way forward that is uniquely yours. I would be honored to walk beside you as you find it.

The next step? Simply say yes. I will meet you there.
