Do you have a CEO Day for your business? If not, you’ll want to change that ASAP. Here’s why...

Serious team of professionals, five multi ethnic business people negotiating in modern boardroom.

What is a CEO day?

A CEO Day is a dedicated day each week where you focus solely on working on your business rather than IN it. This means setting aside time to plan, organize, strategize, and create without the usual distractions. By having these days set aside and following a clear process, you can stay focused and take impactful action.

Why you need a CEO day to scale your business

Feeling like you're constantly busy without making real progress? Implementing a CEO Day can change that. A CEO Day is a game-changer if you want to scale your business because it shuts out the noise and gets you laser-focused on what truly matters. It’s a day to get things done, get organized, plan, plot, and create. It’s a day to stay on top of your business and ensure everything is running smoothly.

Benefits of a CEO day

  • Increased Focus: Eliminate distractions and concentrate on strategic planning.

  • Better Organization: Plan and prioritize tasks for the week ahead.

  • Enhanced Productivity: Achieve more by working on high-impact activities.

  • Clear Vision: Regularly review and refine your business goals and strategies.

How to implement a CEO day

Here’s a breakdown of how I assess what’s happening in my business during my CEO and the exact questions I ask myself:

Set Intentions: Reflect, Review, Refine, Plan, and Plot

Reflect on the Month to Date: High-level notes on progress and areas for improvement.

Review Upcoming Tasks: Assess capacity for the week and ensure the team has everything they need:

Is there space to add anything? How is the capacity for the week? What's coming up? Does the Team have everything they need to support the best they can?

Speaking Engagements: Evaluate upcoming engagements and opportunities to expand your reach:

Do I have any upcoming speaking engagements? Is there capacity to apply for new ones? How can I build my brand and expand my reach?

Lead Generation Plan: Plan for freebies, masterclasses, or teaser offers:

Are there any planned freebies, masterclasses, or teaser offers? Is there a clear process/plan for the launch or offer roll-out? What steps can I take to ensure smooth execution?

Content Planning: Outline content for the week and schedule emails:

What topics do I want to discuss with my community this week? Is the content mapped out and scheduled? Are the emails ready and scheduled?

Sales: Prepare for sales calls, follow up on leads, and review DMs:

Are any sales calls booked this week? With whom, and what do I need to prepare? Are there any follow-ups or unread DMs to address?

Revenue Generating Activities: Identify key activities for the week and schedule them.

What are the key RGAs for this week? When will I do them each day?

Important Business Items: Review finances, track client progress, and set intentions for the next 45 days.
