Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life so we can get to know you better.

If you ever need a cup of tea served with a dash of creativity and a sprinkle of candy, you’ve found the right gal! I’m comfortably ensconced in the director’s seat of the media and entertainment world as the founder of GAAS Media, where innovation and storytelling come to life on a global scale. My passion for nurturing musical talent shines through BMR (Be Major Records), while at Sozart Creative, my boutique branding and marketing agency, I connect with clients from all over the world.

Humanitarian work is close to my heart, and I strive to use my resources and voice to uplift communities and advocate for meaningful causes.

When I’m not busy managing my ventures, I’m a proud dog mom living my best life, complete with a secret candy store that kids adore! Theatre is my creative sanctuary, and you’ll often find me sketching my thoughts while savoring my favorite tea. Merging creativity with purpose is what fuels me every day, and I love sharing that joy with others!

What inspired you to launch Sozart Creative, and how does it reflect your vision for branding and marketing?

The inspiration behind launching Sozart Creative stemmed from my desire to blend artistry with strategic branding, creating a unique platform that embodies my vision for authentic storytelling in marketing. I’ve always believed that every brand has a story waiting to be told, and I wanted to help clients uncover and share those narratives in a way that truly resonates with their audience.

My focus revolves around delivering tailored branding and marketing solutions that reflect each client’s individual identity while aligning with their goals. I aim to empower businesses, brands, and personal brands to express their uniqueness and showcase their distinct personalities.

Incorporating psychometrics into my approach has been transformative, enabling me to leverage psychological principles in designing effective marketing strategies and branding solutions. By understanding the motivations and behaviors of target audiences, I craft more personalized and impactful campaigns that make a real difference.

Sozart Creative embodies my commitment to making branding accessible and meaningful, ensuring that creativity and strategy go hand in hand. I take pride in supporting clients globally as they navigate their journeys, helping them stand out in a crowded marketplace while remaining true to their core values.

You’ve had a diverse creative journey, from theatre to digital storytelling. How do these experiences shape your approach to brand activations?

My creative journey has been quite the adventure, hopping from the world of theatre to the realm of digital storytelling! These experiences have added layers of fun and flair to my approach to brand activations. Just like in theatre, where every performance relies on a captivating story, I believe every brand has its own narrative just waiting to be shared.

Theatre taught me the art of connection and how to engage an audience, read the room, and evoke emotions. Each rehearsal is a lesson in nuance and timing, and I take that to heart in my branding work. Understanding the psychology behind how people react allows me to create content that resonates on a deeper level.

And then there’s digital storytelling! In today's fast-paced online world, it’s all about keeping things fresh, fun, and visually engaging. I draw from the spontaneity of online content creation to keep brand activations lively and relatable. It’s like putting on a show every day, and consistency is key. Just as actors perfect their lines through repetition, I emphasize delivering consistent messaging that solidifies a brand’s identity. This repetitive “practice” helps audiences recognize and trust the brand over time.

So, whether I’m crafting a heartfelt narrative on stage or whipping up engaging online content, my goal is always the same: to create brand experiences that captivate and connect. It’s all about bringing the excitement and energy of performance into the digital realm, ensuring that every brand activation feels like a show-stopping moment that audiences will remember!

As a founder-director at GAAS Media and BMR, how do you balance your roles across multiple creative ventures?

Balancing my roles at GAAS Media, BMR, and Sozart Creative is like juggling flaming swords; it is exciting but requires some great skill! As a proud multipotentiality, I thrive on my diverse interests, and time management is key. I use block scheduling and to-do lists to keep the chaos at bay, ensuring each venture gets the love it deserves.

Discipline is my best friend; consistency is golden! I remind myself that every little effort adds up. And let’s not forget self-awareness; sometimes, you need to hit pause, grab a snack, or recharge when you’re feeling burnt out.

Embracing a unique blend of passions is essential. With a sprinkle of humor and a bit of structure, it’s possible to thrive in multiple arenas. After all, it’s not just about being a jack of all trades; it’s about being a dazzling multitasker creating a fun-filled adventure!

What challenges have you faced as a woman entrepreneur in the creative industries, and how do you advocate for women’s empowerment?

As a woman entrepreneur in the creative industries, I’ve encountered challenges that often demand significant sacrifice to rise through the ranks. Fortunately, I’ve had the privilege of connecting and collaborating with inspiring, like-minded women from around the globe, creating a supportive network that motivates me to push my boundaries. The genuine love and praise I’ve received for my honesty in all that I do have been incredibly uplifting.

From a very young age, I felt I was destined for something greater, and that tunnel vision has allowed me to tune out negativity and detracting opinions. This unwavering determination has fueled my journey, and being recognized at various women-oriented summits has ignited my passion to prove that I can tackle multiple challenges and achieve anything at any time.

I take particular pride in the fact that Sozart Creative boasts an all-women workforce (along with some wonderful men on the team!), and my other business and humanitarian ventures actively support women in numerous ways. As a breast cancer awareness advocate and warrior, I am dedicated to empowering women and championing their causes.

In the past, I struggled with saying ‘no’ and often accepted less than I deserved for my services, but those experiences have provided invaluable lessons in growth and self-worth. I’ve learned that as women, we are powerful beings, and the sooner we embrace this truth, the more swiftly corporations and industries will flourish. Advocating for women’s empowerment is about lifting each other up, breaking barriers, and demonstrating that our potential truly knows no limits!

How do you integrate social impact into your projects, and why is this important to you?

Integrating social impact into my projects is a fundamental aspect of my work and personal philosophy. I believe that creativity and responsibility go hand in hand, and every initiative presents an opportunity to make a positive difference. Whether it’s through supporting women’s empowerment, advocating for breast cancer awareness, or championing various humanitarian causes, I strive to weave social good into the fabric of everything I do.

For instance, at Sozart Creative and my other ventures, we actively seek partnerships with organizations that align with our values. This could mean collaborating with brands that prioritize sustainability or launching campaigns that raise awareness about important social issues. By aligning our creative endeavors with causes that matter, we create meaningful narratives that resonate with audiences and inspire action.

This commitment to social impact is important to me because I’ve always felt that our work should extend beyond profit. It’s about contributing to a larger narrative, one that uplifts communities and creates real change. Making a positive impact not only enriches the lives of others but also adds depth and purpose to my projects. It reminds me and my team that we’re part of something greater, giving our work significance that goes beyond the surface level.

Ultimately, integrating social impact into my projects is about leaving a legacy of positive change, empowering individuals, and driving conversations that matter. It’s a commitment that fuels my passion and motivates me to continue pushing boundaries in all my creative endeavors.
