As I write this in the year 2023, there are over seven billion people on this planet. Many of us (I’m speaking for a friend) had to research how many zeroes are in a number as big as seven billion. It’s easy sometimes to feel insignificant in a world that is so immense. But I am here to tell you that you matter. You are important. I will admit that I tend to be a bit of an idealist, but I believe that every single person possesses a unique energy, a frequency and therefore, a purpose that holds immense significance to the collective progress of humanity. The challenge, however, is getting people to believe this. It seems that so few people are willing to accept how important they are. Perhaps we get a bit lost sometimes in the vastness of humanity.

Power in purpose

There are several great quotes for inspiration by people far wiser than I, that speak to purpose. I will reference the quote by Mark Twain that says, “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”

We are all born with a purpose, a reason for being. Discovering this purpose allows us to tap into our innate potential, allowing us to contribute something meaningful to others. I believe this want to contribute something meaningful to others is a key component to purpose. This is different than the often-shallow waters that many of our influencer’s swim in today, using social media as a tool to hopefully acquire temporary, fragile fame and hopeful riches. Make no mistake, these souls are of immense value, just like everyone else, yet it seems even they struggle with purpose.

Embrace and accept your value

Every individual possesses inherent worth. It is crucial to recognize that our value is not determined by external factors such as wealth, social status, or even accomplishments. Each person has a distinct perspective, experiences, and capabilities that can positively impact others. The challenge is, if we don’t accept that we are of value, we can have the adverse effect. If misery does love company, then those who wallow in misery can create a crowd, thus influencing people in a negative way. If I could influence you in one way, it would be for you to accept your value and love yourself unconditionally.

The ripple effect of positive energy

Many of us are aware of the Butterfly Effect. It is a big part of the recent movie the Flash where Barry Allen travels through and alters time. Following this concept, the positive energy of a single human being has the power to create a ripple effect that touches countless lives. Imagine the ripple effects of kindness, compassion, and love. Each person’s energy contributes to the collective consciousness and has the potential to bring about positive change. To me, this is a more inspired vision of an influencer.

Vibrational energy

The concept of vibrational energy suggests that everything in the universe vibrates at a certain frequency. When we radiate positive energy, we elevate our personal vibration and, in turn, influence the energetic frequency of those around us. By cultivating a positive mindset, practicing gratitude, and expressing love and empathy, we create a harmonious environment that nurtures the well-being of all. This is true in all environments, whether it be work-life, home-life, school, social circles; your positive vibrational energy can only help others in any environment.

Unleashing your potential

Realizing our own individual value and tapping into our unique energy propels personal growth. When we understand the power we hold within ourselves, we become motivated to continuously learn, improve, and evolve. By embracing personal development, we unlock our potential and become agents of positive change in our communities and the world.

A network of human energy

Just as individual cells work together to form a healthy body, the collective energy of humanity fuels progress on a global scale. When individuals awaken to their purpose and radiate positive energy, they contribute to a collective consciousness that fosters innovation, compassion, and collaboration. Each person’s energy becomes an integral part of a larger tapestry, shaping a better future for everyone.

So, do you matter?

That’s an easy answer. I will tell you without hesitation that you are one of the most important seven billion plus people in the world. Do you understand your purpose? I can’t answer that one for you, but I can help you discover it. Understanding and living your purpose is one of the healthiest steps you can take to living a healthy, fulfilling life, while enriching the lives of those you know, and don’t know, even when you aren’t aware of it.
