About the K.D. Standley
K.D. Standley was born in Kansas and raised in a small town that gave him the ability to use his imagination. He attended college and studied Law, Political Reform, Criminal Justice, Restorative Justice, and Political Science. Today, he is semi-retired and has written three books. His first book is called "Growing Up In Kansas, Abuse In The Heartland." This is about his sister, who passed away in 2023 from a drug overdose and living with bipolar. The Second book, “Living In Fear,” is about how the United States could do better. The third, “The Coming,” He has dedicated much of his life and resources to helping others; his non-profit foundation works to help people get off drugs and to find homes.
