Welcome to Scorpio season, October 23 - November 21. I’ve been studying astrology for three years, and in the last year, I’ve been working on incorporating the energy into my daily life. I have found great success in living a more rhythmic life. As a self-development coach, I feel that the planets have a place and an impact on our lives. I’m looking forward to this season's newsletter. Dont forget to read back on Libra season, and learn how to use its energy to have a more balanced life.
12 signs in the zodiac system
Aries, element fire. The life starter is known for its aggression.
Taurus is slow and steady, the element is the earth, and its animal is the bull.
Gemini. The social butterfly, element air.
Cancer, element Water. A homely sign loves a good meal and is known for intuitive & silent energy.
Leo is bright and bold. Element is fire, you can always spot a Leo in a room.
Virgo is organized and very personal. Earth is its element and it loves a good to-do list.
Libra, element air. It is easy breezy and romantic.
Scorpio, lords of the underworld. Element, water; is known for its depths.
Sagittarius, element fire. Adventurous & loves education
Capricorn. Detailed and work-oriented, often confused with Virgo. Also an earth element.
Aquarius is unique and innovative, always challenging the status quo.
Pisces, element water. Known for its rather big emotions.
All about scorpio
Scorpio is our 8th sign in our zodiac system. Right after Libra is our light easy breezy romantic sign. Scorpio gives us a little more depth into the dark side. Where Libra is light whose ruling planet is Venus, Scorpio is as opposite as you can get to Libra. Scorpio is a water sign whereas Libra is air. Scorpio's ruling planet is Pluto, our lost and nearly forgotten planet. Puto is known to be a part of the underworld. It's cold and distant. Pluto not even being called a planet anymore makes this sign even more mysterious. The distance from the sun makes it the coldest planet.
Scorpio isn't necessarily a cold sign. Even though it has a lot of energy surrounding the underworld. Scorpio is a very caring sign and wants to be there for you. Scorpios are loyal, committed friends or partners and workers. They aren't overly emotional, unlike their other water sign Pisces.
They can come off as cold and indifferent. Scorpios are amazing at reading people if you are being rude. Scorpios have no problem giving you a taste of your own medicine. Much like an Aries, who they often get confused with. Scorpios have a perfect way of letting you know that they dont like you, without it getting in the way of group activity. Just like an Aries, they want fairness, and stand up for those who need it. They understand indifference, and that is what makes people unique.
Scorpios make great leaders. You might find that your boss or someone you admire is a Scorpio. Their ability to see both sides and take the most practical steps to move foward makes them perfect leaders. Again, they get a little confused with Aries. Aries too have great leadership abilities. They enjoy getting right to the work and can spark the fire to the project.
Scorpios and Aries almost go hand in hand. A big difference between these two signs; Aries are great starters but struggle at finishing the project, while Scorpios are great at managing the project and seeing it to completion.
Scorpios aren't much for public displays of emotions, kissing or even holding hands. Their secret, mysterious allure is their quiet private life & love life. This doesn't mean they are insensitive and hard to be with romantically, it just means they like their privacy. They are romantics, deep down they love grand gestures of romance. They would rather have them done in privacy and be able to tell people on their terms.
Scorpios can be very intense. They dont miss much and are great at reading people's energy. They love long-term relationships and normally wear darker clothes or pastel colors. Scorpios are also known as the sexiest sign of the zodiac chart. There's just something about their mysterious life that makes them quite enticing. Anne Hathaway is a Scorpio. She is a stunning woman with incredibly dark mysterious eyes. Her life is out of the public eye, adding an extra desire to her. Same with Julia Roberts. The movie Pretty Woman was made for her.
Three things about scoprio:
Drive for power
Extremes
Transformation
Drive for power
Scorpio and Aries are oddly similar. Aries has a quest for power with its ruling planet Mars, the God of war. Scorpios’ drive for power is no less than – the Aries's. Scorpios are very passionate and stand firm on their values and beliefs. They want others to feel just as good in their shoes. It's not like they want to argue with you or have a fight with you. That is more Aries ground.
Aries don’t mind getting into a heated argument. Scorpios' power is more that they want to be seen. Their ruling planet pluto is the forgotten planet. My vision of Scoptios is the god of the underworld in the movie Hercules, Hades. A little whiny, and wants to be on top. Plays an important role in the transition from life to death. Scorpios enjoy educated conversations. Think of the word. Empowering.
How to use this energy in your own life:
Stand up for what you value and believe in
Get educated on what you love
Practice good posture
Extremes
It's not uncommon to see a Scorpio with tattoos and or piercings, their clothes to be a little wilder and more of a “punk” or “ goth/grunge” look. But then again, for Julia Roberts, there is nothing wild about her clothing. She is seen dressed in a sleek elegant way on the the red carpet and has a great “ street style”. She doesn't shave her armpits, for an A-list celebrity like herself, this might be a little extreme. Scorpios extremes aren't just about clothing choices or body appearance. They also love to travel and they are educated. Education isn't just about reading a book or going to school. To Scorpios, it's about being in culture. They have no fear of solo traveling for long extended times.
How to use this energy:
Be proud of who you are
Try something new
Solo travel
Transformation
Scorpios are the rulers of transformation. Think about the arachnid scorpions, they have been able to live in the wildest places against dry hot weather to cold and wet. They glow under black lights. Scorpois's transformation is also tied around death. This has to do with their ruling planet Pluto, the Lord of the underworld. Hades, think of the movie Hercules. Hades is supposed to be guiding the dead to their next stage. Death is not the ending, Death is only the beginning. To a Scorpio death does not always mean an end to a life. We end situations all the time; leaving a job, moving houses. The graduation from your little kid's room to your teenage room could be considered a death. Scorpios don’t see death as a negative word, it simply means transformation.
How to use this energy:
Accept endings
Enjoy the small moments
Look for the signs
