Adam Majrouh, Life Coach

Can you tell us a bit about your journey and what led you to become a Men's Father Wound Coach? My journey to becoming a Men’s Father Wound Coach is deeply personal and rooted in my own experiences. At a tender age of just two and a half years, I underwent a traumatic event which inadvertently shaped my relationship with my father. I was left with feelings of abandonment, a lack of protection, and a profound sense of being unloved. As I navigated through life, I grappled with these feelings of being flawed, feeling controlled, and a constant sense of restraint. It cast a shadow over my self-worth and ability to trust others, even when they had nothing but love for me. This emotional turmoil often led to overwhelming bouts of pent-up anger and a lack of clear purpose in my life. Building relationships and friendships was a struggle, as my self-esteem had been deeply affected. I often found myself putting people on a pedestal, while inwardly struggling to reconcile with my own feelings of worthiness. In the absence of a positive father figure, I, like many others in similar situations, began seeking out paternal substitutes – some of which were beneficial, while others were not. Despite the pain, I loved my father deeply and continue to do so even after his passing. The impact of that early life event resonates with me till today, shaping my identity significantly. This personal journey, marked by my own struggles and the lack of a positive father figure, sparked a deep passion within me to support others dealing with similar challenges. Leveraging my background in coaching and personal development, I decided to channel my experiences into a force for good, focusing on helping individuals grappling with the Father Wound. This decision has led me down a path that has been both transformative and rewarding.

The Father Wound is often a taboo subject in society, especially for men. Can you discuss some challenges men face around healing this wound and how you address this in your coaching? Certainly, the Father Wound is indeed a sensitive subject. Many men struggle with acknowledging the pain, and societal norms often discourage them from expressing their emotions, which further complicates the healing process. This emotional wound can manifest in several ways, including issues with self-worth, feelings of abandonment, and difficulties in forming healthy relationships. In my coaching, I prioritise creating a safe, non-judgmental space where men can openly express their feelings and experiences without fear of criticism or rejection. I guide them through their emotional journey, helping them understand and navigate their feelings, and work towards healing their Father Wound. We employ various strategies, such as individual coaching sessions, group discussions, and specialized online resources, to address their unique challenges. In this process, we aim to break the societal taboo of men expressing their emotions, encouraging them to embrace their vulnerability as a strength. The goal is to empower them to heal and grow, fostering their self-worth, and helping them establish meaningful and fulfilling relationships.

How do you tailor your coaching approach to entrepreneurs specifically? When it comes to coaching entrepreneurs, I understand that they face a distinct set of challenges that require a personalised approach. I take the time to deeply understand their individual needs, goals, and aspirations.

Drawing from my own experience as an entrepreneur since 1990, I bring a unique perspective to the table. This allows me to offer practical advice and strategies based on real-world experiences, helping entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of running a business.

By incorporating elements of emotional intelligence, psychology, and spirituality, I provide tailored guidance that empowers entrepreneurs to overcome obstacles, enhance their emotional well-being, and thrive in their entrepreneurial journey. Whether it is helping them find work-life balance, navigate the pressures of entrepreneurship, address self-worth issues, or leverage their strengths, I ensure that my coaching approach is customized to meet their specific needs.

What are some common emotional growth issues that entrepreneurs face, and how do you address them? Entrepreneurs frequently encounter emotional growth issues that can impact their success and overall well-being. Some familiar challenges include Imposter Syndrome, Fear of Failure, Loneliness, Work-life Balance, and the Constant Pressure to Perform.

To address these issues, I create a safe and non-judgmental space where entrepreneurs can openly explore their emotions and experiences. Through deep listening and insightful questioning, I help them identify and challenge limiting beliefs that may be holding them back. Together, we develop strategies and practical tools to cultivate emotional resilience, confidence, and a powerful sense of purpose. Additionally, I provide personalized coaching sessions and offer specialised online resources that specifically target the emotional growth needs of entrepreneurs, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive in both their personal and professional lives.

How do you differentiate between temporary fixes and lasting emotional balance in your coaching practice? Temporary fixes often provide short-term relief but fail to address the root causes of emotional imbalances. This is because the emotional pain that stems from a Father Wound is not something that can be superficially treated, much like a physical wound that needs more than just a band-aid. Temporary fixes may numb the pain or distract from it, but they do not facilitate the necessary healing and transformation. By addressing root causes, we can help individuals reframe their past experiences, foster healthier relationships, and cultivate inner peace. Essentially, the goal is to provide tools and strategies that will serve them not just for a moment, but for a lifetime of emotional stability and well-being.

In my coaching practice, I focus on facilitating deep and sustainable transformation. By guiding individuals to uncover underlying patterns, heal emotional wounds, and develop healthy coping mechanisms, I empower them to achieve lasting emotional balance. My approach is not about quick fixes but rather about empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives built on a solid foundation of emotional well-being. Can you share any specific examples or success stories from your clients that highlight the impact of your coaching? Absolutely! One of my clients had a significant breakthrough in reconnecting with his dad, which brought him immense happiness and a sense of lightness. He also highlighted my unique ability to shift thought patterns towards positivity, which helped him overcome personal and professional challenges. As a result of our work together, he has become a better father, husband, friend, and businessman. His progressive development is a testament to the transformative power of coaching and the positive impact it can have on various aspects of life.

I also had the privilege of collaborating with an entrepreneur who struggled with self-doubt and a fear of failure. Through our coaching sessions, we explored his limiting beliefs, identified his strengths, and developed strategies to overcome his fears. Over time, he not only launched a successful business but also gained a renewed sense of self-confidence and purpose. Witnessing his transformation and seeing him thrive in both his personal and professional life was incredibly rewarding.
