Nothing Happens By Accident

Often, I get asked: “Irene, how come you are so calm? Nothing seems to rock you…”

Let me tell you, this wasn’t always like this. Once I began my journey, what started unwittingly long before… caused by circumstances, that led me onto my path to becoming a Bowen Therapist, ‒ my entry portal into the world of the art of healing and being of service.

This wonderful, gentle modality is usually recommended by word of mouth by those who have experienced its magic. The unconventional approach to Body Therapy, works like a charm, for so many people suffering with bodily aches and pains.

Along the way, I’ve met some wonderful, interesting people, who opened my mind, ears and eyes to possibilities I was not aware of in the past. Thereby influencing my journey, perhaps guiding me to my path would be a better phrase.

Allowing to create and set new goals and role models to the extent that changed my life from who I once was, – an anxious person, not valuating myself as worthy enough, what may be nowadays be described as being ‘bi polar’. One day happy and the next day sad.

To NOW being a happy, confident, worthy, balanced individual no matter what. Do I still get knocked over from time to time? Yes, of course. But I am able to recalibrate on a much faster rate and finding my equilibrium to be able to change what needs to be changed.

In the past, in most instances, I made my happiness dependent on others. Like so many of you do too. Others were my family and friends, ‒ as long as they were happy with me, my actions, I was happy too. This would have to be described as being the personality of a pleaser, disregarding one’s own needs and always looking for approval outside of self until it is learned and understood that true happiness lays within. Being authentic to self, being able to say no, enough is enough.

When the student is ready the lesson appears, and so does the teacher.

Nothing happens by accident. By staying on my path, teachers came along who taught me how to balance my energies, to live in harmony with my true nature, starting to learn accepting, loving my quirks and works, to be, to do, to have what is in alignment with the higher self our Soul. Because that is who we are. We are energetic beings in a human body therefore we are all individuals with our own quirks and works and as long as we do not harm another, we are loveable as we are LOVE.

As we are accepting day and night – light and dark, Yin and Yang we will have to learn accepting our gifts as well as our so-called shortcomings and learn to deal with them to overcome. These are often expressed as fears, doubts, and worries... The time has come now to step out of the box, leave behind your limitations that you have set for yourself for any reason…

Many of us have abilities that we have never shared with anyone else, or some of us have disowned some parts of ourselves because we felt that we would not be accepted by others, – because we believed that we are not good enough, not deserving. This has to change.

When you are opening yourself up to yourself first… you shine! Know thyself is Love thyself. Someone once said, “Until you make peace with who you are, you will never be content with what you have”. Sometimes people experience the greatest challenge to be themselves and accept that being different is in a matter of fact a blessing rather than a curse. A person who lives by their own standard and knows who they are, will eliminate anything that does not align with their purpose and values. A person must be selective with thought and words to attain their goals.

My recommendation is to exercise positive self-talk. Minding your words, minding your thoughts. Your body listens to every word you are saying, and it does not understand jokes…

Your life, as well as your health, is an enactment of your thoughts, words and actions. A mirror of your predominant thoughts. Everything is interconnected and interrelated between the physical plane and the spiritual realm. Everything is energy, some of it is moving fast, especially when fuelled by emotions, or sometimes slow-moving to being stagnant. If this network of connection and correlation is not understood it can cause feelings of frustration, feeling lost, and confused about being on this plane of existence.

So what I am really saying is that what is really important is, how is the relationship we have with ourselves? How do we do our self-talk? How do we relate to ourselves? Do we get impatient with ourselves and call ourselves stupid? Are we loving towards ourselves? Are we rewarding ourselves or do we even punish ourselves?

It is usually depending on if your life, the actions taken are in alignment with your Soul’s intention. If we act against our Soul purpose, our inner voice, our gut feeling than things usually don’t go so well as one would have hoped for. Or the pleasures gained are very short-lived.

Some people can punish themselves with their bad conscience for their wrong doing more than any justice system would. This punishment can be seen as unhappiness, leading even to dis-ease and illness, the spoiler mode. Murphy’s Law.

This is mirrored within the language used to communicate with self, as well as with others.

If you have no moral and verbal support from family and friends. Do you cheer yourself on? Or, do you throw the towel in?

So, really if there is no one who encouraged you, chances are that nobody has taught you how to encourage yourself into the action of mindfulness of thought and word. I am here to help you to learn how to never again speak of yourself in a discouraged, or discouraging way, never concede to the possibility of failure, or speak never again in a way that intends to set you up for failure as a possibility. But instead, have faith, trust in your plan, ideas to come to fruition, never again speak of times as being hard, or business cautious. – Being doubtful this might be all true for others who live in a competitive plane of reality. But never for those who function on a creative plane of existence. Where you create what you want and you are above fear even when others are having hard times and poor business.

People must be taught to become by creation, not by competition. If you live in the creative you do not have to deal with the degrading influences of competition, you create your unique niche. Life flourishes best where there is refinement, a high level of thought and freedom from corrupting influences. And these are only to be found where riches are attained by creative thought without strive and rivalry.

You must fix your attention upon your mental picture of your goal, may it be love, success, career, health, finances, family, diet,– whatever is sought to be obtained, to the exclusion to all that may tend to dim or obscure your vision. Your mind must arrive at the destination before your life does.

Eliminating anything that does not align with your purpose and values, and be selective with thought and word to attain your goals.

Never allow yourself to feel disappointed, you may have expected a certain outcome by a certain time and not getting it in time may appear to you as a failure. But if you hold your faith, – failure is only apparent, ‒ go on that certain way, and if you do not receive that certain thing you will receive something even better for you. you would see that the failure was really a great success or you wouldn’t be who you are. your subconscious mind the formless substance, God, Spirit, energy, all there ever was, all there ever is, whatever you prefer to call it, knows more than you and prevents you from losing the greatest good.

Some people remain stuck in mental poverty because they are ignorant of the fact that there is a world of wealth to them available. This wealth can unfold in many ways and does not always have to be measured in financial gain.

Thought is the creative power behind every action, your actions must be in tune with your thoughts for to achieve a successful outcome to any endeavour. When you enter the creative plane of thought you will rise above all limitations and become a citizen of another kingdom. Give no anxious thought to possible disasters, obstacles, panics, pandemics or unfavourable combinations of circumstances.

There is no better way to invest your money than in yourself, into your growth and expansion.
