That doesn't mean that, that we just give up and give in on our dreams. The only time something becomes impossible is when you decide that it is.
So this morning I had a conversation with someone close to me and they pretty much laughed in my face about my big dreams.
And when I say pretty much, they actually literally laughed in my face when I shared some of my dreams with them. And then they gave me a hard time about how I haven't already hit those big goals yet. And why haven't I? I mustn't be working hard enough. And I could have chosen to get really angry about that. Instead, I clearly express to this person that that was not okay with me for them to laugh in my face.
And I explained to them that I didn't care what came my way, that no matter what they said, no matter who told me my dreams were impossible, that nothing was going to stand in my way.
Nothing.
And when you decide this, whether your dream is to become a bestselling author, to make a career and a living as an author, to become a speaker, inspire millions of people around the world, start your own business, grow your business, hire a global team, become a neurosurgeon in your late fifties...whatever it is, you get to decide what is possible for you.
Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. There will always be people who don't see your vision, who don't have that same drive and that same visionary capacity that you do. That's fine. Don't let it stop you from achieving your dreams. You've got this.
All you have to do is put one foot in front of the other.
