“No, I don’t think so; I will not do that.” I was talking about my newly discovered gift of being able to read medical issues. My teacher at the time said, “You have to do it; you are given the gifts for a reason.” I was a fool to think I had any control over what gifts I had been given and if and when I could choose to use them. But, being a bit stubborn sometimes, the feeling was this one was just too much responsibility. It was resisted for a very long time. I have since learned more about faith and trust. None of us are 100% accurate, and I always tell people they need to follow up with their medical doctors.
One day I was in my office doing a mediumship reading for a man who wanted to connect with his father. The session went well. He was about 35 years old, the picture of health, and worked out at the gym five days or more per week.
He was on his way out of the office, had his hand on the doorknob, and said, “Do you see anything about health?”
Before I knew what was going on, I was in one of those moments when my mouth started to move, and my brain had not quite caught up. I am in one part of my mind thinking to myself.
“What on earth are you saying to this guy?” I hear the words coming and think, “No, you said you did not want to do this.” It did not matter; I said, “You have a bone density problem and thyroid issues; there is something off with your calcium labs and kidneys.” “I am being told you need to see a medical doctor Now, and I mean Now.” In my head, I am thinking, ‘Now, are you kidding me? You never say things like that.” I am not a scary psychic. I do not predict death, adverse events that can not be prevented, or exact pregnancy dates.
He looked at me like I was crazy and said, “I did not mean me.” He was annoyed.
I said, “I have to tell you, I have known I can do medical issues for a very long time. I have not wanted to do them.” “I heard what you heard at the same time you heard it; I can’t explain how this was more or less forced through me, but if it were me, I would just go see the doctor.”
Then, of course, I went home, and the self-talk began; you should not have said that, etc. I perseverated over it for a few days. But, the information was forced through me. So, I let it go.
About a week or two later, I got a thank you email from him.
He went to his doctor; he told me that everything I said was, in fact, true. He further explained that he told him that had he waited two months, he might not have been able to fix it. Hence the word “Now.” That was the day I decided to do them. It was many years ago now.
Later came the realization that I could scan a person’s body in person or over the phone with my non-dominant hand and tell them what was happening. This ability is related to Clairtangency, although I do not need to touch the person. I have read children for their parents through a full-body photo.
I am unsure when it came or how; it just happened one day. My background in nursing has helped me here, as I often get medical terminology.
