Living with heart requires authenticity. A big part of being authentic is recognizing our situations for what they are, while also acknowledging that we are in control and can choose how we respond and react to the challenges presented to us.

When we are experiencing a pivotal moment or facing a difficult situation, it is important to recognize that feeling scared or nervous is totally normal. When these moments of challenge are presented, how do we react, and work through them? One way that I have learned to work through challenges is by finding my YES!

What finding your YES means is looking for and finding ways to make the effort that it will take to rise up to the challenge worth it by doing things that motivate and inspire you to keep going. While everyone’s YES may look different, it is important to have a way of being, thinking, feeling, acting or doing that helps you to persevere through any given situation or challenge.

If not in the midst of a challenge, finding our individual YES can motivate us towards a goal while helping us to stay committed, focused, and accountable. Our individual YES acts as a beacon, drawing us toward the end goal, and empowers us to continue onward.

What is one thing you can do today that would feel like a YES?
