Life is full of uncertainty, and we all strive to be better, different, or more. In the quest for success, many of us want to jump ahead in the process and go right to enjoying the fruits of successful living. But this inherently faulty thinking – you can not have fruit without a seed! Even then, having just a seed is still not enough; you need the right environment to cultivate growth. It’s time to understand the natural law of life and learn how it can help you achieve your goals. In this article, I share my thoughts on how leveraging the laws of success can help you achieve greater success in life!
First Law: You Can't Get Something From Nothing
In the quest to be better, different, or more, folx will desire to skip the process and jump right to enjoying the fruits of successful living. This is faulty thinking. You can not have fruit without the seed. And even then, just having a seed is still not enough. That seed must be planted (in fertile soil), cultivated, and harvested before it can be enjoyed. You must first plant the seed for something new to manifest in your life. This means taking action toward your goal through some form of effort or dedication. It could be as simple as writing down your ideas or planning how you will succeed. You must take action for anything else to happen; this is key! Without taking this step, nothing will move forward, and progress will remain stagnant. If you have observed something not happening in your life that you truly desire, first look internally at what you're doing to contribute to your own forward movement. Have you planted the seed? Remember, you can't get something from nothing!
Second Law: Success is Accumulative In Action
Consistency becomes essential in achieving success once you have taken those initial steps toward your goal. Just like plants need water and sunlight regularly if they grow properly, so do our goals need consistency and nourishment if they come to fruition. You must dedicate yourself daily (or at least consistently) to work on whatever it is that needs to be done – this may include things like researching topics related to your goal or finding support systems that will hold you accountable so that when times get tough, you don’t give up too soon! In my experience, this phase is when your faith in yourself is truly tested. I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "Patience is a virtue". This is true on so many levels. Often folx stop just short of the finish or just short of the harvest season because the consistency needed to nourish growth takes longer than we hope and certainly longer than we desire. Yet you cannot rush the natural growth process. During this phase, I've found written and audio affirmations to be the most helpful. I script and listen to affirmations multiple times a day.
Third Law: Gratitude Is Magnetic
Harvesting the fruits of your labor feels amazing. Enjoying the fruits (aka rewards) from all your hard work is one of the best gifts life has given us. A critical component of enjoying the rewards is your expression of gratitude. Why does gratitude matter? Because like attracts like. As your expression of gratitude increases, more for you to be grateful for will naturally move closer to you. You will draw more seeds to plant, cultivate, and harvest. Thus placing you right back at the first law, kicking off a new process by which you can receive a new harvest.
People are naturally drawn to positive energy and appreciate it in their lives. The more you express gratitude, the more magnetic your energy will become. Your open expression of gratitude will be a magnet for other people and can bring new opportunities into your life. Gratitude is also an act of self-care. The harvest is a result of your work!
You can create space for the universe to work its magic! The three laws of manifestation are simple but powerful. The first law is to manifest something new into your life by planting a seed and taking steps towards it. The second emphasizes consistency for progress. The third shows how expressing gratitude helps attract positive energy and opportunities into your life.
