Ber-Henda Williams, Feminine Leadership Coach

Who Is Ber-Henda Williams?

Hello! I’m Ber-Henda Williams, a bilingual poet, empathic leadership coach, and advocate for feminine leadership and creative entrepreneurship. My work centers on guiding women, particularly BIPOC leaders, to tap into the power of empathy to lead, connect, and create meaningful change in their communities and industries.

Beyond my work, I find joy in creativity and self-care. I love getting my hair and nails done; it’s a ritual of self-expression and grounding for me. I’m also deeply connected to my spiritual journey, which aligns with the Holy Spirit and helps me navigate life’s joys and challenges.

Family is at the heart of who I am. As I navigate caregiving for my father while honoring the legacy of my late mother, I’m reminded daily of the strength, resilience, and love that fuel my purpose.

When I’m not working or spending time with family, you can find me writing poetry, curating transformative events, or simply enjoying soulful moments of reflection. My life is guided by creativity, community, and compassion, and I’m passionate about creating spaces where others can thrive.

My platform was born out of a desire to see women, particularly BIPOC women, lead from a place of authenticity, empathy, and power. For too long, leadership has been defined by rigid, hyper-masculine frameworks that often disregard the importance of intuition, collaboration, and care.

I knew there was another way, a way that honors both strength and softness, structure and flow.

What inspired you to create your platform and focus on empathic feminine leadership?

My journey as a poet, community leader, and empath has always been about creating spaces for connection and transformation. Through my work, I saw firsthand how empathy could bridge gaps, heal wounds, and spark innovation. I wanted to cultivate a platform where women could tap into these gifts and lead confidently and purposefully.

Empathic feminine leadership isn’t just about professional success; it’s about building sustainable, compassionate communities and businesses that create real impact. My mission is to guide women to embrace their intuition and empathy as essential leadership tools and to show the world that this approach not only works but transforms lives.

Can you share a success story from your work that highlights the impact of embracing being an empath and how to heal themselves and their business?

One of the most powerful success stories from my work comes from Lori Jo Vest, a brilliant businesswoman and creative force. Like many high-achieving professionals, Lori Jo had built an impressive career but found herself navigating the challenges of burnout and disconnection from her deeper purpose.

Through our coaching sessions, I guided her to reconnect with her empathic gifts, tap into her intuition, and align her business strategies with what truly fueled her soul. We focused on creating balance by honoring both her passions and her need for peace, a crucial element for empaths who often carry the weight of the world on their shoulders.

Lori Jo said something that deeply resonates with my mission: "Ber-Henda’s coaching is life-changing. She helps you dig deep and discover what your passions are and how to best use your talents while keeping your interior environment peaceful. That is what has made a huge difference to both me and my business."

Seeing Lori Jo step into a space where her business thrives without sacrificing her inner peace is a reminder of why I do this work. Empathy isn’t just a personal tool; it’s a business asset. When leaders learn to harness empathy while maintaining their inner harmony, they make better decisions, foster stronger relationships, and create businesses that are authentic and sustainable. That’s the power of healing and leading as an empath.

What’s your vision for the future of your business and the impact you hope to create?

My vision for the future of my business is rooted in expansion, transformation, and impact. I want to continue creating spaces where women, especially BIPOC women, feel empowered to lead with empathy, authenticity, and purpose. My goal is to expand my work globally, reaching more women who are ready to heal themselves and build businesses that not only thrive but also create meaningful change in their communities.

One of my biggest aspirations is to grow the Culture Shift(Hers) 150+ directory, creating a robust network of BIPOC women entrepreneurs and leaders across industries. This directory will serve as a powerful resource for collaboration, visibility, and economic empowerment.

I also envision hosting more Listen to Black Women events, providing platforms for Black women’s voices and leadership to be amplified on a larger scale. These events are more than conversations; they’re catalysts for systemic change and innovation.

Ultimately, the impact I hope to create goes beyond individual success. I want to shift how we view leadership, integrating empathy and intuition as vital tools for building sustainable businesses and communities. By empowering women to embrace their empathic gifts, I believe we can transform the way the world leads, collaborates, and connects.

Tell us about your greatest career achievement so far.

My greatest career achievement thus far has been creating a comprehensive ecosystem for feminine entrepreneurs. This includes launching a podcast that features inspirational stories and practical advice, hosting live events centered around un-networking, where traditional networking norms are broken down to foster genuine connections, and establishing the Listen to Black Women platform, which highlights the unique experiences and insights of Black women in business.

I am proud to have built a membership community that serves as a supportive space for empathic feminine leaders, where they can share resources, collaborate, and uplift one another. This initiative has not only empowered women in their entrepreneurial journeys, but it has also fostered an environment of inclusivity and representation.

Moving forward, I aim to expand this ecosystem further, bringing even more voices to the forefront and creating opportunities for emerging leaders. I believe that by lifting each other up, we can drive meaningful change in the entrepreneurial landscape.

Tell us about a pivotal moment that brought you to where you are.

One pivotal moment that brought me to where I am today occurred in the winter of 2018. During the late summer and early fall of that year, I attended about eight funerals. Reading the obituaries and reflecting on the lives of those who had passed made me pause and deeply consider my own life and the path I was on.

At that time, I realized that I wasn’t living a life that I loved or felt fulfilled by. These experiences prompted me to reflect on my values and the impact I wanted to have. I understood the importance of living authentically and aligning my work with my passions.

This introspection became a catalyst for change. I made the decision to pursue my vision of creating an ecosystem for feminine entrepreneurs, a community that not only supports but also empowers women to lead lives they love. That pivotal moment was truly transformative and set me on the course to where I am now.
