It’s so fundamental, but it’s often lost over time. As we take things for granted, or something becomes second nature, we often forget what true kindness looks like.
It’s an intentional, thoughtful way of serving a human soul. Not just a mind or body, but the depths of the human spirit.
With kindness, It’s being selfless, caring, compassionate, and unconditionally kind. Like love, it takes practice to understand and feel it. We can share the love with others through kind acts such as a smile, a nice word, an unexpected deed, or a planned surprise.
Supreme kindness isn’t only external it’s also internal. You need to nurture and nourish your own spirit as well.
This starts when you stop being your toughest critic.
And it ends when you learn to expect nothing, and accept everything, whether it’s with yourself or with someone else.
Stop being so hard on yourself. And stop being so hard on others. Learn to expect nothing, accept everything, and be kind in everything that you do.
