I do not know one person who would get excited to eat the same meal every day. I mean, I love me some Avocado on toast, but after two days of eating avocado and toast for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I'd probably skip a few meals to give myself a break from the monotony.
And this same principle applies to your wellness.
While you may not be eating avocado and toast for every meal, you might be utilizing the same activities or tools in your growth that are causing you to feel bored in your life and make you want to skip your mind, heart and soul foods. Which initially isn't problematic...Until that skipped meal here and there, over time turns into a few days, weeks, and months. And before you know it, you've found yourself slamming your focus, dedication, and ability to stick through things.
When the reality is you just might need to change up the meal, you were serving yourself emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually day after day.
So, if you find yourself feeling burnt-out, unsatisfied, indifferent about your growth process, try changing it up! Here are a few simple things that you can do to help keep your life from feeling stale.
1. Try changing the scenery.
A simple change in your environment can lead you to see things in a whole new light and help you gain sharper focus, greater creativity, less stress, and increased productivity.
Try taking one day where you change things up, like your driving or walking route. Maybe instead of eating indoors for lunch, you go outside and soak up the sun.
Or bring the outdoors indoors!
Studies have shown that adding living elements like plants into the workplace, hospitals, living spaces and schools can dramatically reduce stress, blood pressure and heart rates, while increasing productivity, creativity, and overall well-being.

2. Change up the techniques you are using.
By changing up the techniques you've gotten comfortable with, you open yourself up to growth. When you experience something new, this allows you the opportunity to grow from the foundation you've already established for yourself. And might even help you realize that you've outgrown the last technique and now need something more filling.
3. Face Your Fears
Whether it’s a fear of failure, embarrassment, loneliness, or the unknown, it can stop you from living your life to the fullest because most of us will do anything to ignore those fear in the hopes that they will just disappear.
Unfortunately, that never works.
Living a fully engaged life and having the ability to keep life fresh and humming, means you have to learn to overcome your fears, so they stop overcoming you. You can't let the fear of failure, embarrassment, or the unknown stop you from changing the scenery or technique ‒which then steals your ability to find fulfillment.
Because life is too short and too precious not to be switched on! And it definitely way too short not to be satisfied with it. So, make sure to change things up to keep your life feeling fresh and fulfillment.
