When planning an escape from your daily schedule, how might you want to create your ideal getaway experience? As things feel like they’re consistently shifting, it may feel difficult to plan.
Each day keeps us on our toes, and the conundrum might seem like it’s almost impossible to make sure we feel like we’ve had some rest.
What might the picture-perfect break look like?
It can appear different for everyone depending on what we want to achieve.
So, what’s the goal of this desired getaway?
Do we want to rest and relax, get a change of scenery, or enjoy some physical activity?
When we were kids, where did we escape when we built little forts out of furniture and blankets or sat in treehouses exploring imaginative places?
As adults, how might we want to recreate those feel-good memories as ‘big’ kids? Let’s imagine for a moment what that might look like.
If travel isn’t an option, how might we be able to design this vacation where we are?
It’s about determining what memories we want to form now and smile about later on.

How about taking an adventurous local drive for some fresh air and new scenery, planning activities, or just lounging around doing “ME” or “US” stuff?
Prioritizing a tiny bit of “ME” time can
be like a “diamond in the rough,” very precious.
Robert Kennedy once said, “There are those who look at things the way they are and ask why… I dream of things that never were and ask why not?”
