As the month closes with many reflections on Financial Literacy during Financial Literacy Month in April, let's pause and identify, clarify, and evaluate your relationship with Money. The Firm Foundation Wealth Seminars on April 12 focused on the Money Mindset. The room was full of laughter on the comments of what individuals' money would say about them and how the psychology and mental aspect is the foundation blocks to the wealth journey. The main topics of discussion were financial wellness and financial capacity.

What is financial capacity?

Think of financial capacity as the muscle of your money mindset and management. The stronger it gets, the more confidently and intentionally you can build wealth and live well.

Is wealth spiritual?

It's a reflection of mindset, Stewardship, and purpose. True wealth begins within: how we think, believe, and honor the resources entrusted to us. We move from chasing riches to building a legacy by aligning our finances with faith, wisdom, and divine principles. Wealth becomes a tool for impact, a seed for generations, and a testimony of God's provision. It's not just about what we have but how we use it to serve, uplift, and fulfill purpose. Wealth is how we navigate from our heart posture, Wisdom, Experience, Accountability, Leverage, Trust, and Hospitality.

Reflection: What is your heart posture?

Financial wellness quality of life

The key elements of a vision for future-oriented vision are forward-looking and inspire innovation and progress. The vision is purposeful, a reason to take action, often driven by deeply held values, dreams, or goals. It's inspiring, creates excitement and passion, and helps overcome obstacles and challenges. The vision acts as a guiding star that keeps efforts focused and aligned. The proper alignment of the body, soul, and spirit is essential when keeping your relationship.

Reflection: When was the last time you had a financial wellness check?

Financial capacity empowerment

Who are you? Stewardship: We manage it on behalf of the valid owner. Stewardship is when someone is entrusted with something valuable and is expected to use it wisely. Steward isn't about how much you have but how faithful you handle what you have. Financial Capacity is not just about income, Influence, Stewardship, and decision-making power.

Financial tool belt
