Action Step: In a private space, start tapping gently on the side of your hand, known as the karate chop point. As you tap, acknowledge any stress, tension, or discomfort you're feeling. Then, tap on the points along your eyebrow, side of the eye, under the eye, under the nose, on the chin, and at the collarbone while repeating a positive affirmation like "I am releasing tension and inviting balance."


This may sound odd, but try it and see what you feel.

  • Ancient Flow Activation: Engage in a seated forward fold to promote the flow of energy through your spine. Sit up straight on the edge of your chair, feet flat on the floor. As you inhale, lengthen your spine, reaching for the sky with your hands. As you exhale, gently hinge at your hips and fold forward, allowing your hands to reach toward your feet. Inhale, lengthen your spine again and exhale as you fold deeper. This movement enhances flexibility and encourages the release of stagnant energy.

Action Step: Sit on a sturdy chair, both feet flat on the floor. Inhale deeply, feeling your spine lengthen reaching for the sky with your hands. Exhale, hinging at your hips and folding forward, allowing your hands to relax toward your feet. Keep your neck relaxed and hold the stretch for a few breaths. Inhale to come back up, and exhale to release. Do this 3-6 times and feel the difference.

  • Spinal Freedom: Spinal twists are a cornerstone of ancient practices, aiding in detoxification, improved digestion, and the release of tension along the spine.

Action Step: Begin by sitting tall in your chair. Inhale deeply, and as you exhale, gently twist to the right, placing your left hand on your right knee and your right hand behind you or on the arm of the chair to give a little extra leverage.


Using your eyes, look as far as you can turning your head gently to stretch the neck and spine. Feel the ribs expanding and the hips opening, you may feel this through the sit muscles and even down the leg. While twisting, see how far you can see behind you, pick a spot or an object that is a focus point. Stay in this position for 3 slow deep breaths.


Inhale as you lengthen your spine sitting up as tall as you can while twisting, and exhale as you twist deeper. See if the focus point becomes easier to see, and then try to see something else further around. Keep your shoulders relaxed and your gaze soft. Breathe deeply in this position for a few breaths, then inhale to release. Slowly relax, breathe, and Repeat on the other side.


Repairing and restoring inner harmony

  • Energy Reconnection: Place your hands on your lap, palms facing up. Close your eyes and take a deep breath, inhaling through your nose. Imagine warm, healing energy flowing into your hands with each breath. As you exhale through your mouth, visualize this energy circulating through your body, restoring balance and vitality.

Action Step: Sit comfortably, feet flat on the floor, and close your eyes. Inhale deeply through your nose, feeling your hands fill with energy. Exhale through your mouth, visualizing the energy traveling through your body, touching every cell, and revitalizing your being. remember, this is Your body, Your muscles, and Your energy. Work with it, and guide it to do what you want and need it to do.


  • Soothing Breathwork: Use your breath as a conduit for healing energy. Inhale deeply, allowing the air to fill your abdomen, stretching the diaphragm, lifting the ribs, and expanding the chest. Relax the shoulders and the neck. Exhale slowly, releasing any tension or discomfort. Imagine the breath carrying healing energy to every corner of your body, soothing and repairing as it flows.

Action Step: Sit in a comfortable position, hands resting on your lap. Inhale deeply through your nose, allowing your abdomen, ribcage, and chest to expand and release any tension, stress, or pain it may feel. Exhale through your mouth, letting go of any stress. As you inhale, visualize a soothing, golden light entering with your breath. As you exhale, imagine this light spreading throughout your body, nurturing and repairing.

Always remember to move slowly. It is vital to let your body know what you want it to do. “It’s not the position that matters, it’s the transition from one position to the next that requires your attention”.


Re-energizing your being


The journey toward empowerment is a continuous cycle of re-energizing and rebalancing. By combining the wisdom of ancient practices and modern insights, you can cultivate a harmonious union of body and mind that fuels your success.

  • Morning Ritual of Vitality: Begin your day with a simple, invigorating routine. As you wake up, take a few moments to stretch and yawn, opening your body to the day's potential. Inhale deeply, filling your lungs with air, and exhale with an audible sigh to release any lingering tension from your sleep. Visualize positive energy flowing into your body, awakening your senses.

Action Step: Upon waking, take a few moments to stretch your arms above your head and reach your legs down to the end of your bed. Inhale deeply, and as you exhale, let out a satisfying yawn. Inhale once more, imagining vibrant energy entering your body, and exhale, releasing any remnants of sleepiness.


Before attempting to spring out of bed, slowly bend one knee bringing the heel of the foot as close to your bottom as possible, then gently allow the knee to fall across the flat leg to gently twist your spine while keeping your shoulders flat on the bed. Relax in this position for 2 slow deep breaths. Allow the foot to slowly slide back down the bed beside the other foot. Repeat for the other side.


Once you have stretched both sides, bring both knees up as close to your chest as possible, give your knees a big hug, and bring your chin up to between your knees. Take 3 deep breaths stretching into this comfortable self-loving position, then release, roll to the side, and easily sit up, allowing your feet to relax firmly on the floor.


Once your feet are on the floor, sit up tall, take a deep breath, and with the exhale allow the big muscles in the back of your legs gently, yet powerfully lift you out of the bed. (You will find the big muscles in the back of the legs lift you much easier than trying to use the smaller muscles in the front of your legs to push you up. Try this when going up stairs too, you will notice a big difference between pushing yourself up stairs or letting your big muscles lift you up the stairs.

  • Mindful Meal Ritual: Transform your meals into opportunities for nourishment and rejuvenation. Before you eat, take a moment to pause and express gratitude for the food in front of you. Connect with your breath and the present moment. As you take each bite, chew slowly and mindfully, savoring the flavors and textures.

Action Step: Before starting your meal, place your hands over the food and take a deep breath. Express gratitude for the nourishment it provides. As you eat, chew each bite thoroughly, paying attention to the taste and texture. Enjoy what you are choosing to fuel your body with. Put down your utensils between bites to allow for a more mindful experience.

  • Mind-Body Harmonization: As you go about your day, weave moments of mindfulness into your routine. Pause for a few breaths before entering a meeting, responding to an email, sending a loved one a funny emoji, or making a quick phone call can make a massive difference before making a big decision or diving into a stressful situation. Reconnect with your values, your purpose, your body, and your intention for the task at hand. try it and feel how different your experience is.

Action Step: Before transitioning between tasks, take a moment to close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Inhale calmness and clarity, and exhale any stress or distractions. Set a clear intention for your upcoming activity, and proceed with a focused and centered mindset. letting go of what you just did, while preparing for what you are about to do is a powerful exercise. never take a past experience into a new experience.

  • Evening Self-Care: Wind down your day with a nurturing self-care ritual. Find a quiet space, and as you prepare for bed, practice deep breathing and gentle stretches. Release any residual tension from the day, letting go of worries and stressors. As you settle into bed, focus on gratitude and positive thoughts.

Action Step: Before bedtime, create a calming environment by dimming the lights and eliminating distractions for at least 1 hour before bed. Never take work into your sleeping space. Candlelight is best before bed while turning off all electronics. This will start a chain reaction of chemicals in your brain, allowing your body to know it is safe, it can relax and you will now be going to sleep.


Sit comfortably on the edge of your bed and take a few minutes for deep, slow breaths. feel gratitude for the day you had, and for making it through again. Inhale relaxation and exhale tension. Perform a gentle neck and shoulder stretch, then lie down and extend your legs to stretch your lower back.


As you drift off to sleep, reflect on the positive moments of your day, as well as clearly establish your journey going forward. The clearer your goals are in your mind, the better the mind can figure out how to achieve them.
