When you’re living your true calling, you’re constantly up-leveling as a person to meet the version of you that you need to be in order to reach the next phase of growth in your business. This means that as new creations drop into your awareness, you undergo a phase of personal growth in order to become the version of you who can deliver the creation to others. It can be easy to think that you need to keep going and going and pushing and working hard to keep growing your business, but it’s in these times of receiving a new creation that it’s so important to allow yourself space and time to process, integrate, and grow.

This is the flow of creating a heart-aligned business. It cannot be created by pushing and working hard because the definition of heart-aligned is to be in a place of allowing and flow, being guided on your path forward from a place of intuition and inspiration, not from a place of trying to make things work.

As you tap into this state of flow and allowing, your personal growth is catalyzed in order to meet the new creations that are the next phase of your business. The key is to allow that personal growth to happen. This means giving yourself space to reflect, process and integrate. Being in your own energy, and giving yourself time to rest and just be. This is where the most powerful levels of personal growth can happen when you’re allowing it. It can be tempting to try to shift gears and be productive, but the thing to pay attention to here is if that productivity is coming from a place of obligation or from a place of true inspiration. If we’re trying to be productive because we feel that we should be, then we’re only further perpetuating more circumstances of obligation. But if we allow ourselves to rest when we feel like it and move forward from a place of inspiration, we further perpetuate more and more inspiration, ease and flow.

It can also be easy to think that if you’re allowing yourself to rest, you’re not moving forward. Here’s a helpful tip for that: keep in mind the vision and goal you’re working towards in your business. And now ask yourself who you need to become in order to have that in your life. What kind of energy does that version of you radiate? How do they feel about themselves? And now ask yourself what is highest and best for you to do in this moment that supports you becoming that version of you.

When you operate in business and life from this place of setting your intention on your vision and then being in a place of ease and flow in getting there, you end up getting to your vision much faster. When you only act on what you feel inspired to do in each moment, you release all of the sense of obligation and hard work that was only creating more resistance to you evolving into the next level version of you.
