Kc Rossi, Business & Leadership Coach

Brief our audience about your journey as a business leader until your current position at Kc Rossi, Inc. What challenges did you overcome to reach where you are today?

Statistics show that 90% of all start-ups fail. I’ve been an entrepreneur since 1991. Spanning three decades takes an undying belief system and perseverance. My business partner and I created nine businesses in four years, lived in our car, invested our life savings, and worked at a fast-food restaurant before our 10th business took off. The zenith of our creations was a confection manufacturing company that we operated for 17 years and hit the 7+ figure mark.

After selling that company, I decided to branch out on my own to explore other passions. I quickly learned how unique it was to be a part of a dynamic duo. The challenge of cultivating confidence and attaching my self-worth to my services as a solopreneur arose. It took a couple of years of an identity wobble to establish a solid foundation that felt comfortable to stand on alone.

I believe in the adage that there are treasures in trama. Challenges are an opportunity to know ourselves and harness internal power to traverse the terrain.

There are a lot of business coaches. What made you think there was an opening for you?

I help my clients embrace their uniqueness. Skills can be learned, but no one will be able to replicate your personal experiences. Your vibe and wisdom will draw your divine right clients. Because I live my life with this philosophy and an abundance mindset, I stepped into the space with little hesitation. I saw a need — smart women pivoting from a soul-sucking job that wanted more. They were good at their trade but wanted to shorten the learning curve when entering the business arena. It was a good fit and progressed naturally.

What do most people not realize about your business?

Many people feel that success leaves clues and that there is a perfect blueprint for success. I believe we are as unique as our fingerprints, and our business should reflect that. Of course, there are best business practices, but to truly build a sustainable and joy-filled business, we have to take into account our personality, bandwidth, deep why, and other vital factors. I’m dedicated to helping women embrace being the architect of their own destiny, starting with self-trust.

Can you tell us about The Soulprint Method®?

The Soulprint Method® combines mindset techniques and emotional intelligence to increase productivity, performance, and profits. In my coaching, I use powerful tools and strategies that include alignment, energy, freedom, fulfillment, influence, leadership, and legacy. This holistic and synergistic approach ensures optimized growth without burnout.

With all the shiny options, how do you approach marketing?

It has taken some practice to not fall prey to marketing trends. Today, I follow my intuition and lean into what feels authentic and relationship-building. Connection and service are a couple of my core values. I choose marketing channels that are aligned with those. My podcast; Women Developing Brilliance — The Spirit of Business, has been fantastic for me to connect with my listeners, provide solutions, and share inspiration on a weekly basis.

If given the chance, what change would you like to bring to the industry?

Leaders and teams are thirsty for the opportunity to let their guard down, authentic connection, and genuine work-life balance. I would love to see hustle culture squashed. The incessant messaging to push harder and grind in order to be successful is toxic on multiple fronts. My goal is to help people shift from overworking to a holistic balance of productivity and restoration for a sustainable life and career.

Describe in detail the values and the work culture that drives your organization.

At the heart of my organization is integrity and alignment. The work culture rotates around

self-leadership, autonomy, and the Kaizen philosophy of never-ending improvement. In order to achieve this goal, being mindful of purpose, joy, and hope for the future is necessary. Our work as entrepreneurs is a direct reflection of how we live our lives. It takes walking our talk and implementing the teachings to truly be a radiant exemplar to others.

What is the thing you are geeking out about these days?

I love minimalism. Personally, I’ve experienced increased joy, clarity, and a sense of being grounded by reducing possessions. I apply this approach to my business as well. Simplifying my business allows me to focus on the most important things, from apps to offerings. This laser-focused approach stops the mental swirls and paves the way for flow and increased productivity.

What is one of your non-negotiables?

I have meditated daily since 1990. I don’t know who I’d be without it. Creating the space to tune inwards after the enormous amount of mental stimulation is essential. Inner peace can not be

found externally. Meditation has provided a reliable way to recharge and regain balance.
