Used to be an unfulfilled overworked professional, suffering the rights and wrongs of reality that led her to look into different possibilities and perspectives in terms of health, well-being and personal fulfillment.
What if happiness is the measure of success? The only disease we have on this planet is unexpressed humans. Who in your family has lived a fully expressed life? Did you have any inspirational figures in your life? Have you even thought that you have different parts of you waiting to be expressed? Experiencing it is a release and relief, and sometimes euphoria, and creation—contribution to be enjoyed by many or perhaps something else to you.
It's said, own who you are, well, do you know who you are? Do you have a lot of definitions around it? I’m a professional, artist, mum, teacher, or homestay dad. These are roles you play, actually; however, none of it is you; you are so much more than that.
‘It is important to realise that under the occupation of creativity does not necessarily have some kind of art. Creativity is not only music, poetry, literature, dance, theatre, etc. Creativity is everything we do in our own individual way, without looking at other people.’
We are all creators, creators of our life and living, and everything in it.
Perhaps you’ve been told you are interested in too many things; what if that is your strength? What if you are actually multitalented and have been holding it back in fear, you’ll be made wrong for it? Can you imagine if you could express different parts of yourself into this world? Who would you be, or what would you do? Have you thought about it? What is that you are good at?
Write down 3 things without thinking! And then
1. Acknowledge you want a change in your life without going to specifics
Recognising the desire for change is the first step. You don’t need to have all the details figured out. Simply acknowledging that you want something different is a powerful starting point.
2. Get into the space where you can be you
Find an environment or activity that allows you to express yourself freely. This could be therapy, dance, sports, or something like Access Bars, where you can change your perspectives without doing anything. Being in such a space helps you connect with your true self, leading to new realisations and inspirations. Read more about Access Bars here.
3. Acknowledge and appreciate yourself
Celebrate the fact that you’ve taken a step towards change. Recognising your efforts and progress is crucial. Acknowledge every step you take, without judgement, as each one brings you closer to the change you seek.
Ultimately, a fulfilled life is about being happy and progressing with a sense of fulfilment and well-being and feeling that one is living in accordance with their true self and values in every area of their lives.
What would the world be like if everyone would live their full expression of life? It would be a fulfilled world full of fulfilled people!
