Connection in its purest form.
Buckle up people, and take notice, the time is now.
My absolute driving force is to bring people back to themselves, recalibrate a sense of freedom to think and accountability. I was becoming really frustrated with not being able to find anything that centred on my doing the work organically and learning to take responsibility for myself. I needed a mirror to teach me about myself. What better than a horse. This led me to set up my business with Horses and Heart connection. This has transformed my life in more ways than one and the deepest level of absolute joy and healing have no words.
With more and more collective stress it’s now time to get more heart focused. Reach out and find different ways of dealing with this ever-changing world. Mine just so happened to be horses.
So why not head in a different direction, we all know how a decision, when made from the heart feels like the right one.
We have been intellectualizing our situations because quite frankly things have had to get done.
We’ve brainstormed, written lists and formed a plan, strategized till we are blue in the face but have we really followed what feels right to us? What part of our gut instinct is still there?
People have changed their lives, downsized, moved to the country from the city, got a pet, felt the need to join on a basic level, to have a relationship with nature and your heart has never before been so important.
We’ve become so lost, our gut instincts disappearing over the horizon with people far more likely to listen to something outside of themselves because they are exhausted. Rising cortisol levels becoming more and more addictive. The need for answers immediately.
We need to create a buffer zone in order to have some sort of equilibrium for ourselves and our families. I have clients who will work both with my coaching and my horses but it’s the guidance of the connection that gets the matter to the surface. The lightbulb moment appears and indeed it can be sometimes overwhelming.
Horses don’t have an ego they simply are in the here and now so they always bring you back to a point of reference for yourself. This can be uncomfortable as the space left is either filled with emotion or there is simply nothing there. Many people say “nothing’s happening”. But that is a reflection of you and what you bring to the arena. When the journey takes you inwards in can be fascinating to see that once the layers are taken away what you actually have. This is where the Heart comes in.
When you truly anchor to your heart the horses come closer because you are free from the constraints that have been put upon you. Each one can represent a person's place or thing in your life that is yet to be discovered or simply want to know you and understand you.
We’ve all been bombarded with spirituality; each path takes you somewhere, it’s a road that will teach you many things. So start looking for a way to find a balance to our four main pillars of mental, physical, spiritual and emotional needs. I personally don’t think one size fits all as the world around us changes constantly and now more than ever that is the case.
Start expanding your complete awareness of yourself, be your own project, start questioning your reasons and thoughts and where they come from. Champion with your heart, be in nature, understand the magic of horses or centre yourself and find out which way you want to go
Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we could all reach inside and feel confident with the instincts that belong to just us. The strength behind a genuine decision from a gut instinct makes it almost untouchable and in fact once that level has been reached, the world around you knows that there’s no point trying to change your mind.
Things are moving at an alarming rate and now more than ever it’s time to ground yourself in you. People are looking for answers and can’t find any, they switch from one form of information to the next hoping to find at least one thing then get confused as a pile of data becomes too much so they internalize it, ending up at square one.
Question yourself, separate yourself out from the collective. Try something new, whilst attaching your heart and head and see what it has to say.
Whether you are a CEO, heading a fortune 500, a teenager struggling to make sense of the world, a professional with plans to change or an everyday person just trying to make sense. Surely a better link to yourself will help that.
It is time for you to work out who you really are. Place your hand on your heart, close your eyes and ask yourself, do you really know who you are? If not then start your discovery into you, there might just be a surprise bigger and better than you imagined

After her own cancer journey it was horses that bought her back to herself and also being made aware of anxiety, depression and even suicide with those around her. She became frustrated with the lack of places, to just connect on a different level. Also being a mother of four children made her look around at a space that seemed to be lacking for emotional support in a loving and outside environment. Passionate about learning more about yourself and your gut instincts, she spends two years researching the power of animal connection with regard to horses. Feeding into her intuitive coaching and lifelong connection to horses she was able to help people on many levels.
