Julija Lemenaite, Nurse Coach
Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better.
My name is Julija Lemenaite. I was born in Kaunas, Lithuania & immigrated to the U.S in 1998 with my mother, father, and older sister. I have always had an innate deep passion for helping people. As a child, I used to draw images of me as “Nursena: the Greek Goddess of Healing”. How did little me come up with that?
I never knew where that inner drive came from until my mom told me the week I got accepted into nursing school that this was also her dream as a young adult! My moms support in my career always felt extra special because of that reason, but my entire family was always on my side! They never let me give up, and as an immigrant that hard-working mentality kept my drive on fire.
I graduated with my Associate’s Degree in Nursing May 2019 then applied for University to study for my Bachelor's Degree Fall of 2019. I worked in a Level One Trauma Center on the West Side of Chicago. I began working during the COVID-19 pandemic March of 2020.
I got burned out really quick to say the least. I unfortunately got first hand-experience witnessing patients pass away without families being allowed to come & say good-bye, horrible working conditions, unprofessional management, and my own fellow nurses leaving the profession altogether. I was part of the group that wanted to leave but didn't know how. I always knew deep down I was meant for more.
One day, I was sitting at my computer to chart but I never got to the task of actually charting. I was glued to the Google search engine. I typed in “Alternate holistic nursing jobs” because I simply couldn't pass pills, work with no lunch breaks, take orders, or watch patients be treated only as a diagnosis anymore. I stumbled upon an online Board-Certified program called “The Nurse Coach Collective” and instantly applied! I knew this was my dream job, not being stuck at the bedside! This step single handedly changed my life forever & I am forever grateful to the collective!

What inspired you to create an online platform? Could you share the story behind its inception and development?
I started my LLC “Female Empowerment Health Coaching” in January 2023. I was inspired by the strong female figures in my life to fulfill my inner desire to help create a society of empowered females. In the hospital setting, I witnessed so many females have their symptoms (especially of pain) get overlooked compared to a male patient. I always thought it was so unfair that even in modern day society, women were not equally treated. I wanted to be the voice of change and teach women they could always advocate, speak up for themselves and most importantly INVEST in themselves. I knew that if I had a virtual practice, I could help serve the community in such an expansive way that being tied down to an office space could not do.
Can you describe the mission and vision you aim to achieve through this platform?
I see myself being a coach as the vehicle to a bigger mission. What I see for this universe is increased consciousness & level of awareness. Seeing how broken America’s Western Medical Model was what inspired me to start teaching others the side of nursing they don’t see. I always had visions of me being an educator, and bringing up uncomfortable conversations in the modern world. Without education & conversation, we cannot achieve any long-lasting change. Nurses are the most proficient educators, and it is my honor to serve the community at large.
How does your coaching business differentiate itself from other similar platforms or services in the healthcare and coaching industry?
Anyone can call themselves a “coach” nowadays without any extra schooling or degrees. What differentiates working with me is I have multiple years of experience working bedside as a Registered Nurse, with hundreds of types of patients of all walks of life and age. I have been able to navigate through life’s most challenging moments with them, through life & death, and be their 1:1 support system in the time we spend together. No other profession I can think of does what nurses do.
We are the best advocates for our coaching clients because we know first hand how important it is to the healing process to have a solid support system. We can detect needs intuitively. We can professionally assess a person just through a mere few questions & observations. According to John Hopkins, Nursing is voted the most trusted profession twenty-one years in a row, even above Medical Doctors. That should tell you enough!
Could you walk us through the range of services and resources available? What types of support can users expect to find?
Currently, my niche is serving the female/female-identifying community 18 years and up, with time management skills. I help support my clients to adapt to a new mindset. A mindset that allows them to live with time freedom. Developing healthy time management skills allows you to accomplish bigger results in a short period of time, allows for more productivity, lowers your stress (which is a leading cause of most major diseases) and gives you opportunity to spend with the people that matter most. Everyone I work with is chasing this vision, and I help support through 1:1 accountability, check ins, time blocking, mindset work, mindfulness, & more. Each client has their unique individual needs & learning styles that are suited for them so everyone will have a very personalized, & targeted approach when working with me.
Looking to the future, what are your plans? Are there any upcoming features, partnerships, or expansions you can share with us?
I have recently become a brand ambassador for Savage Babe Collections. I was so honored that they reached out to me. I believe that women who feel their best, most empowered selves, also look the part. I love the mission statement behind this company & feel honored to be able to be a part of their growing community & business. I recently have partnered with a Naturopathic & Chiropractic Physician in the Chicago area to work as a remote nurse coach. I plan on doing IV infusion vitamin therapy there to keep some of my “medical” skills alive too!
Can you tell us about your greatest career achievement so far?
On August 12, 2022 I received the Daisy Award. I was nominated by my patient for this award and was chosen to be the winner from hundreds of applicants within my hospital system. The Daisy Mission statement states “The Daisy Foundation expresses gratitude to Nurses with programs that recognize them for the extraordinary compassionate, skillful care they provide patients and families. By honoring compassionate nurses, daisy reinforces the importance of compassion in healthcare”
