Danielle Baron, a finalist for Ms. Great Britian 2023, is a dedicated entrepreneur in the realm of diversity and inclusion. Her unwavering commitment to equity serves as the foundation for all her pursuits. Originating in 2016, her journey began with the establishment of an educational enterprise, following a decade-long career as a teacher and assistant head. Subsequently, she pursued qualifications as a coach and therapist, further extending her reach to support women and children, including those who are neurodivergent, in an even more impactful manner.
The journey of pursuing our dreams often starts with a desire for change, stemming from a need to distance ourselves from undesirable circumstances. Yet, the true essence of perseverance lies in our authentic yearning for these aspirations. It's imperative to ascertain that these dreams are genuinely ours, free from external projections or people-pleasing notions. Picture a life where you chose not to chase your dreams. I recently attended Tony Robbins' UPW event, where I was introduced to the 'Dickens Process,' a powerful technique that envisions a future of profound anguish should our present course remain unchanged. This exercise serves as a compelling impetus for immediate transformation. Applying this technique, we can catalyse change by contemplating the prospect of our lives remaining unchanged over the next 3, 5, or 10 years. Do we truly desire to be in same circumstances in the coming years? It's worth reflecting on the emotional, spiritual, financial, health-related, and relational costs involved.
Visualisation plays a pivotal role in this journey. While some may feel incapable of visualisation, consider how effortlessly you recall where you've parked your car. The subconscious operates in the present, so communicate your desired state as if it's already your reality, employing the present tense. Engage your senses, vividly picturing sights, sounds, conversations, and interactions- be as detailed as you can. This approach, rooted in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), has yielded consistent results in my experience. Embracing this mindset can manifest desired outcomes, as evidenced in my own life. During the UPW event, I envisioned my presence there, and just days prior, I secured discounted tickets.
Confront the worst-case scenario of pursuing your dreams. Recall Theodore Roosevelt's 'Man in the Arena' poem: "Who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly." Analyse the actual repercussions of daring to chase your dreams. Is the worst outcome as dire as you imagine? Isn't the weight of regret potentially more crushing than the sting of failure? Remember, failure only materialises if you cease to strive. Could a protective instinct be inadvertently constraining your progress? Acknowledge potential subconscious secondary gains that might hinder our pursuits to protect, prioritise or punish us (Marisa Peer RTT); sometimes, embracing an all-or-nothing approach can be liberating.
Cultivate a circle of positive, driven individuals who share your aspiration or genuinely support your journey. Your mere presence can profoundly inspire them. Mindfully curate your inner circle, recognising the contagious nature of beliefs and habits. Safeguard your energy by distancing yourself from pessimistic influences rooted in fear of your transformation. Prioritise your well-being, as it profoundly shapes your dream-chasing trajectory. Stand tall, wear mood-enhancing colours, and prioritise self-care to radiate your best self to the world. Combat self-doubt with empowering affirmations like "I am strong" and "I am capable." Tune out naysayers, filtering out visual and auditory distractions.
Boundaries serve as the bedrock of success. While lapses are natural, the ability to bounce back is paramount. Refrain from veering off-course due to enticing or pressure inducing offers that deviate from your dream path. Consider sharing your dreams selectively; divulging them to too many diminishes their statistical likelihood of realisation.
Embarking on your dream journey may appear daunting, akin to ascending a staircase. Focus on each step, nurturing decisiveness, and mitigating procrastination. Your physical bearing also shapes your mental disposition; prioritise confidence through your posture and attire.
Embrace the path of courage, vision, and unwavering determination.

Over the last five years of her tuition business, Danielle has become extremely popular and respected in the tuition industry and is a mentor and coach to other tutors to help them increase revenue in their businesses, but ultimately to be the best tutors they can be. Her own tuition service incorporates coaching for parents and children throughout the exam process and NLP classes for children to help them with lack of confidence, bullying, and anxiety and to help them focus on the imminent goal of exams and to visualise and believe in their success.
Danielle’s second business, coaching and therapy, has been a long time coming and her personal interest in people and psychology led her to invest in the most high-quality courses to be the best for her clients. For her rapid transformational therapy ®️, she had the privilege of personally being mentored by Marisa Peer, a world-renowned therapist. Rapid transformational therapy is a combination of NLP, CBT, psychotherapy and hypnosis.
It has been Danielle’s personal experiences that have led her to where she is today. At age four, her father died of suicide, which installed in her a determination to help prevent people from ever becoming despaired again. Her best friend passed away at fifteen, which solidified Danielle’s determination to live life to the full. Growing up with a single parent, they struggled with money, but Danielle was very inspired by her mother’s work ethic, which had a huge impact on her.
As a teacher in some schools, the politics and bullying amongst staff were toxic and she suffered from depression, stress and burnout and was treated badly at her most vulnerable time of being pregnant and having a newborn and that’s why she’s passionate about helping teachers. She wishes that she had someone to help her at the time.
She has been through the journey of setting up successful businesses on her own while undertaking childcare as a single parent of two after she divorced and strongly believes anyone can achieve anything they put their mind to with grit, focus, and passion.
