I often compare the mastery of one’s mindset with their ability to apply Universal Laws. I found that leaning into Universal Laws when I reach the highest point of doubts in my business growth really helps me (and my clients). It really supports me to shift my focus and go back to a peaceful state where I can act (and not react) in alignment with PEACE.

What could be better than feeling PEACE and EMPOWERMENT when jumping on an important sales call? Maybe EXCITEMENT. Any high-vibe feelings would do the job. But how do you stay in a place where your mind supports your next action and how you show up for your next client?

Attraction in Regards to Mindset

Your thoughts create your feelings. The combination of your thoughts and feelings triggers motion, and you take an action that is aligned and inspired by your thoughts and feelings.

You think of something. It makes you feel a certain way. You take action. It is that simple. No matter what action you take, it will be ALIGNED and INSPIRED by your thoughts and feelings. Consequently, if your thoughts are not aligned with your highest self, your purpose, or your core values, the next action you take won’t be aligned with those either. The above is the immediate application of the law of attraction. The cool thing is that now you know the secret to attract what you want, including the YESES when you are on a discovery call. So if the first step consists of thinking the right thoughts, then it’s not that hard to get your next clients to sign up with you. Well, that’s exactly where the hard work takes place.

The hard work starts way before you even make the call. It begins in your mind. It begins with your thoughts. So what are the five thoughts or mindset shifts that need to happen to attract the dream YESES for your dream clients effortlessly?

1. You Invite Prospects

The first shift that needs to happen in your mind is that you are in charge of who is invited to your sales calls. You actually have the power to choose with whom you will spend your precious time. Not everyone would be a great fit to be invited to an exclusive session with you. So before you ask someone to spend 30 minutes with you, picking your brain, make sure your prospect is looking for support and ready to hear your offer. Qualification is 80% of a successful sales call. So don’t neglect that step because you think it is a number game, and you need to have ten people to convert two into clients. If the quantity is your way of doing things, great. But I am here to help you strategically leverage your time. Thirty minutes spent with one prospect is 30 minutes that you don’t spend with your kids or do something you genuinely love. That has a cost. Don’t undervalue your worth (and time). Stay mindful when it comes to inviting someone to your calendar.

2. You Are The Expert

Remember that you are the expert before, during, and after the sales call happens. You are the one who is doing a favor by allowing your prospect to pick your brain. So before you let someone else lead your zoom call, remember that you are the host here.

This is probably one of the most important things to remember as it has a massive impact on how your prospect will see their relationship with you. Think of your sales call as a sneak peeks of what your prospect should expect working with you. You need to be on top of your game and ask the questions that will make your prospect think, “hum! If that person can make such a huge impact on me already in just 30 mins of exchange, I wonder what it would be like to work with them.” Own your expert hat. Make sure your energy and enthusiasm are high enough to deliver your best work ever.

3. You Are There to Serve

Before you can make any sales, you MUST serve first. And it MUST come from a place of ABUNDANCE, and not fear. You can’t control if your prospect would be a YES or not. That’s absolutely not your problem or concern. I believe that whenever you decide to take aligned action to bring your dream to reality, you enter a co-creation agreement with Life Force, the Universe, God ‒ whatever you want to call it. Each part has a particular set of responsibilities. You get to show up. The Universe gets to deliver. The Universe does not control how you show up and won’t walk onto your territories. That’s your responsibility. You control how you show up. You do not control the outcome. And if you try, there will create a breach of your contract with the Life Force, and she won’t deliver. Focus on your side of the grass. The rest will flow.

4. You Can’t Help Everyone

As much as your prospect is deciding if you are the right person for them, you too are evaluating if you’d be able to help and serve them at your highest level of service. Your sales calls are powerful tools to determine whether or not someone is ready for you and your service. Allowing someone who is not ready to make the change and transform their life is a disservice to your business and yourself. It does not support the growth of your authority and will probably bring more complications than you can expect. You, too, get to interview your prospects and learn if you actually can support them and help them with their pains and struggles. Remember, it’s okay to refer someone to someone else.

5. You Make the Final Decision

This “You Make The Final Decision” shift is a powerful thought to nurture in your mind. It is so because it allows you to follow your intuition. And take it as enough reason to say NO to a prospect. It actually rebalances the role that each part plays in a sales call, and it makes it easy to take power back and be responsible for the part you can control. You got to choose as well. It’s not a one-direction decision that it’s made here. You absolutely get to choose with whom you work. If it costs you your peace, then it’s not worthy of any pennies. Remember that the energy that flows between two individuals matters the most when it comes to human connections.

Conclusion

90% of your sales call success comes from the stories you tell yourself. Your thoughts can bring the best or the worse out of you. Knowing that you understand how powerful a shift of your thoughts is.
