Connie, what exactly do you do?
I am a Transformational Coach, Sicily Travel Host, Published Writer, and International Speaker. More specifically, I coach people to create the life and career of their dreams.
Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better.
I live with my family in Sicily, Italy. The town I live in is Mondello, and I consider it the most beautiful place on earth. I am originally from Los Angeles, CA, and still have a house there. I go back and forth since I love Los Angeles as well.
I have been a Transformational Coach for over 15 years and started taking my clients on personal development retreats in Sicily; thus, a second business was born: Exclusive Sicily Tours.
Although I was coming every Summer to Sicily, it was not enough for me. I decided to move to Sicily full-time with my family. We love it here. We live by a beautiful beach we get to enjoy daily. We love nature, food & wine, reading, traveling, spending time with family, and constantly expanding our consciousness.
What is your business name, and how do you help your clients?
I own two businesses: Costa Coaching & Exclusive Sicily Tours. I am also about to launch Bespoke Luxury Sicily, which is all about immersing yourself in a luxurious experience here on the island. I combine all of my loves and passions in one; coaching, wellness retreats, luxury villas, extraordinary food, and authentic experiences one will never forget. I offer a complete mind, body, and soul transformation here in Sicily. I work with people in the Entertainment Industry, Spiritual Entrepreneurs, and anyone who wants that level of transformation.
Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.
After receiving my Master's Degree in Psychology, I worked as a social worker but knew something was missing. Then, one day I read a book that forever changed my life called "Why Your Life Sucks" by Alan Cohen. The book spoke to me. I suddenly had an urge to teach everyone I could the beautiful principles taught in that book. Like Alan Cohen, I wanted to be a speaker, writer, and holistic life coach. So, I enrolled in his Life Coaching Course and got certified by him. The rest is history.
What would you say is your specialty?
Throughout the years, I have worked in all aspects of coaching. However, my specialty is assisting people to start living their life's purpose. I coach my clients to find their "why" and turn their greatest pains into their purpose. Then, we work together on starting a thriving holistic practice. I coach them on mindset, spiritual principles, and finding their niche on precisely what they are meant to do and who their ideal clients are.
Most of my clients have these beautiful gifts and talents but get stressed when creating a business out of them. That's where I come in!
Why should people coach with you?
Besides the 22 years of studying and researching everything from psychology, personal development, spirituality, mindset, the law of attraction, energy healing, and everything else you can think of, I come from a very non-judgmental place. Nothing a client could tell me would make me judge them. I have been through harrowing situations in my life. I didn't know how I would have the strength to get through. Also, as a child, I was bullied daily, which made me become an extra sensitive soul. So I can feel my client's energy and lovingly help them get from where they are currently to where they want to be.
What is your philosophy in life?
That the most important thing is to find what our life purpose is. I believe we all have a mission in life. We are not here to hate our jobs, pay bills, and die. I also think that we go through painful experiences for a reason. It makes us who we are. It becomes our "why ." So we get to serve people and help them avoid the same painful experiences or help them heal from them. It is my greatest passion to sit with a client and help them identify their life purpose, and then together create baby steps on how they can start making a career from their life's purpose.
Why Sicily?
I love beauty. I love luxury. I am into aesthetics and love to surround myself and my clients with beauty. My clients join me on this gorgeous island for a complete "make-over." I host them in breathtaking luxury hotels and private villas, have them do fun, authentic experiences such as cooking with a Duchess, receive angelic massages, energy healing, boat excursions, enjoy the best food and wine, and spend time with my Italian extended family. Then, I coach them on living their life's purpose. Luckily, getting to do all of this is MY life purpose. Seeing my client's transformation is awe-inspiring. They get to spend a week immersed in beauty while working on creating the life and career of their dreams. Together, we create magic. I am obsessed with what I get to do for a living.
