Hello, I’m Dr. Mirriam Knight, founder of Destiny Connections LLC, and I wear many hats as a psychologist, author, speaker, coach, wife, and mother. I’m deeply passionate about empowering faith-driven leaders to embrace their God-given potential. My life revolves around faith, family, and creating impact, whether it’s mentoring women through She Is Unleashed, building a legacy with my husband through our shared work, or spending time with my children. When I’m not working, I love journaling, connecting with nature, and indulging in a good book. I’m also drawn to meaningful conversations over tea, where hearts and minds align.
Can you tell me about the inspiration behind founding Destiny Connections LLC? What motivated you to start this business?
Destiny Connections LLC was born out of my personal journey and professional experiences. Over 17 years as a psychologist, I saw a recurring theme—faith-driven, high-performing leaders often felt stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their purpose. These individuals carry immense potential, but the demands of leadership and life often left them feeling depleted.
I founded Destiny Connections LLC to provide a space where leaders could realign with their faith, expand their capacity, and lead with purpose. My inspiration came from seeing lives transformed when people integrate their spiritual beliefs with personal and professional growth. It’s not just a business—it’s a calling to help others step boldly into their God-ordained destinies.

We’ve seen incredible transformations. The future is focused on expanding our reach and impact. We’re working on launching a digital library of resources, including courses, journals, and self-paced workshops, to make our services more accessible.

Tell us about your greatest career achievement so far.
One of my proudest achievements is the creation of She Is Unleashed. Seeing women step out of fear, embrace their potential, and lead with boldness is a continual reminder of the power of faith-driven transformation. Beyond individual achievements, building a community of leaders who uplift each other has been incredibly rewarding.
If you could change one thing about your industry, what would it be and why?
I would shift the focus from performance to purpose and alignment. So often, leadership coaching prioritizes metrics and outcomes while neglecting the leader’s emotional and spiritual health. By emphasizing alignment with values and faith, leaders can achieve sustainable success while staying true to who they are.
Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.
A pivotal moment for me was experiencing burnout early in my career. As a high-performing leader, I was pushing myself to the limit, trying to achieve it all. It wasn’t until I surrendered to God and aligned my priorities with His purpose that I found clarity and peace. That moment shaped my vision for Destiny Connections LLC—to help others avoid burnout, find balance, and lead from a place of spiritual alignment.
