So, you are a female in leadership, you know it is tough to be a chick; you have to act tough, you have to be tough, you have to endure tough. Lidia Poet stood for us; Rosa Parks sat for us; the Suffragettes fought for us. Hundreds of thousands to billions in our population have achieved great things as leaders. As an omen. You are not alone in the stresses, the struggles, the achievements in adversity, and the lack of recognition. Whether you lead your own business or a team of ten (or more) with a boss. You Go Girl Girl Power is where it is at, and it is even better with boys' support.

Here are ten ways to get inspired daily

1. Quotes/ memes

Sometimes, the brain can take a little warming up in the morning, like a vehicle. Quotes and Memes jog thoughts. The truthfulness and values written and read provide inspiration, and reading ‘positive’ or ‘inspiring’ narratives can even improve self-esteem.

2. Coffee

Starting your day with a coffee is almost cliché these days. It is said that morning coffee can reduce the risks of cardiovascular disease and can even lower overall mortality in comparison to all-day coffee consumption.

The healthiest way to prepare a cuppa is without added sweeteners, though if you can down the coffee without sugar, an espresso in the morning will increase your energy. Assists with focus and can boost metabolism. Coffee is rich in antioxidants, and its consumption may also help with digestion and weight loss.

More of a tea or juice type?

So, you are not into coffee? Maybe you are not into caffeine. Water is the best choice to quench thirst; any outstanding university will concur. Immune-boosting elixirs and metabolism-boosting fruit and vegetable blends are popular and highly recommended as a go-to pick-me-up.

3. Exercise

We all know 30 minutes of exercise is recommended for health. But did you know that starting your morning with 30 minutes of exercise is one of the main keys to some of the most successful weight loss programs in the world! More importantly, who needs the stress of counting calories if you can develop an exercise routine that works for you!

Increasing confidence and looking good make us feel great, and this can significantly increase our daily motivation. The power of a walk is significantly underrated, and a 30-minute walk is within the capability of most of us.

4. Scents

Psychiatrists and naturopaths have been saying it for years: Lavender helps you relax, and Citrus, with its high concentration of limonene, has been known to increase serotonin. For centuries, scents have been improving the moods of both men and women. We all have a favorite perfume or aftershave. If you don’t, head down to your local chemist or outlet and sample a few; grab the one you like. Perfume makes you feel sexy; smelling good is like looking good, and as many of us know, the right scent is an aphrodisiac.

Just a few pumps on the wrist and neck induce this effortless prep-up.

5. A good trip-to-work playlist

Just like music increases power and effort during a gym workout, music has the power to alter your mood, energy levels and can help maintain focus.

Things to motivate the fire of achievement are valuable. Creating a playlist can be time-consuming, and filling the list with other people's upbeat favorites is not always fun. So, what do you do? We all have a favorite album, a favorite song, that banger we belt out singing at the top of our lungs in the car or shower. That is where you start. Put a few of your favorite tunes alongside a few hits that are super catchy, and there you have a great distraction from the rat race to work. A perfect preparation for a big day of leadership.

Pods, headphones, a speaker, or the car stereo, everything is better with background sound.

6. Reflection

Life is a journey, a journey that often does not have a manual. Reflection is a fantastic way to grow, learn about yourself, and celebrate achievements. Whether it is a moment you take lying in bed, the mind wandering in the shower in the morning, or you keep a diary. The art of reflection has been reiterated as a key to success by prominent leaders, e.g., Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama, to name just a couple.

7. Self-care

Me time, real me time, is hard to find as a woman. Kids, partners, and careers all seem to be a priority over self-care. That is why it is so important to remember you. To celebrate the good stuff, your milestones are just as important as anyone else’s in the household or workplace's achievements. Self-care is simple; it is about you indulging in something enjoyable for you. Whether that's 5 minutes alone, a face mask, tanning in the backyard, playing with a beloved pet, or sleeping, the choice is yours!

8. Bathe (or a long shower)

Relaxing in the bath after a day of being boss is boss. Bath salts, aromas (scents), relaxation music, a tripod with Netflix on the phone, or a laptop, water lowers your stress levels. Relieves tension and anxiety, leaving the depression of responsibility behind for a moment of self-care in an environment proven to have prolific health benefits. Say goodbye to leadership dejection with a bath.

No bath, water conservationist?

If you do not have a bath or water conservation is a goal for you, maybe you would feel more relaxed in a hot spring, walking in a waterfall, or taking a stroll in the rain.

Water is naturally calming when we are absorbed in its presence. The air around remote locations or non-suburban areas is purer, with the environment having stress relief and natural cooling effects.

9. Get inspired

Netflix is filled with an abundance of true-story movies and television series. It is a great place to get inspired and pick yourself up out of the gender slump. From lawyers to leaders, voting, and victims, the stories of women who have shaped this world are not only inspiring but also lead the way to shaping our world, too. Empowering, iconic moments are highlighted as terrific television viewing to inspire us all. Leading men to stand with us and women to stand up for themselves.

10. Have a list

Structure helps us track ourselves, our progress, and our lives. More importantly, a list helps us not to forget important things during our busy lives. The trivial things are sometimes so overwhelming. Forgetting milk, bread, eggs, or Johnny's favorite juice. Having a list avoids the frustration of forgetfulness, even if we forget our list sometimes. Being organized allows us to do other things. We can challenge or treat ourselves when the list is fulfilled. The guidance of a list, the use of spider maps, and a diary are highly recommended assets of any leader. Male or Female, Young or Old, Rich or Poor, the best leadership teachers will teach you to write things down and to read your notes. Preparation is a key factor of success; a list prepares you for most things.
