2. Emotions: Your personal reactions to self and the world
Emotions, on the other hand, represent your personal reactions to the world. They encapsulate the essence of how it feels to be you, living your life within your unique body.
Unlike thoughts, emotions are not confined to straight lines. They flow, curve, twist, rise, and fall, taking you on a rollercoaster ride of feelings that can be unpredictable and sometimes mystifying.
3. When your emotions and thoughts don’t see eye to eye
At times, emotions and thoughts can clash, sending you into a state of internal conflict disrupting your inner peace and clarity.
For example, you may feel anxious about an upcoming meeting (emotion) but logically know that there's no real reason to worry (thought). Conversely, you might be convinced that a project will succeed (thought) but feel a sense of dread that can’t be explained (emotion).
