In the hustle and bustle of modern life, finding moments of peace and clarity can seem like a daunting task. Yet, there is a practice that offers not just respite but a profound transformation of the self. As a clinical psychologist, I've witnessed the transformative power of meditation, especially when clients engage in what I call "Complete Meditation.” I learned this method from Eastern European practitioners Milica Kostic and Zoran Gruicic¹ from Serbia. This practice calms the mind and empowers individuals to create a better reality by learning to work with the quantum field, or unified field of Infinite Power, Infinite Love, and Infinite Knowledge. First, let's delve into how meditation can catalyze personal growth and healing.

Meditation: A gateway to inner peace

Meditation is a diverse practice with various forms that cater to different needs and preferences. Among the most popular is Mindfulness Meditation, which has gained immense popularity thanks to authors like Jon Kabat-Zinn and Eckhart Tolle. This form of meditation encourages practitioners to become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and sensations without judgment, fostering a sense of acceptance and presence.

Another well-regarded practice is Transcendental Meditation (TM), introduced by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and popularized by celebrities like The Beatles. TM involves the use of a mantra, a specific word, or sound to settle the mind into a state of profound rest and relaxation. This technique is valued for its simplicity and effectiveness in reducing stress and promoting a sense of calm and clarity.

Zen Meditation (Zazen), practiced widely in Zen Buddhism, focuses on seated meditation and encourages practitioners to observe their thoughts as they arise and pass away, cultivating a deep awareness of the present moment. Similarly, Loving-Kindness Meditation (Metta Bhavana) emphasizes the generation of feelings of compassion and love towards oneself and others, promoting emotional healing and empathy.

These practices, among others, highlight meditation's versatility and its ability to cater to individual needs. Whether through focusing on one's breath, repeating a mantra, or cultivating loving-kindness, meditation provides a gateway to inner peace by helping individuals quiet their minds and connect with their innermost selves.

Understanding the mind: The monkey and the worker

Our minds are intricate and often unruly. They can be likened to having two distinct modes: the Thinking Mind and the Working Mind. The Thinking Mind, or the "monkey mind," is a concept beautifully illustrated by Swami Vivekananda in his writings. He describes it as "a monkey, restless by its own nature,"² constantly agitated by desires, jealousy, and pride. This state of mind is incessantly active, making it challenging to control.

In contrast, the Working Mind is a state where focus and productivity thrive. For beginners, this mode is the most accessible when we learn to lower brain waves, moving past the analytical barrier that keeps us locked in a high-stress, beta brain wave frequency. This is where Complete Meditation comes into play. By cultivating a practice that calms the Thinking Mind, individuals can access the deeper, more productive states of consciousness associated with the Working Mind.

Complete meditation: A transformative practice

Complete Meditation is a practice designed to help individuals transition into alpha or theta brain wave states and access the layer of reality closer to the Source or the Creator. By achieving this state, one can send commands into the unified field that work wonders for your health and creative ability. These states are associated with relaxation, reduced anxiety, and, often, feelings of bliss. By achieving this, individuals can work on their spiritual-materialistic development and make fundamental changes that manifest as a more fulfilling reality.

The analytical barrier: Breaking through to inner calm

Most of our waking hours are spent in a beta brain wave state, characterized by alertness but also stress and anxiety. When we're anxious or overwhelmed, these waves are in a heightened state. The key to effective meditation is learning to bypass the analytical barrier, allowing us to access deeper levels of consciousness. In these alpha or theta states, our minds become more receptive to transformation.

Complete Meditation guides practitioners in navigating this transition, offering a technique to quiet the mind and open the door to profound personal growth and self-discovery.

Creating a new reality: Healing and growth

Entering these deeper states of meditation not only brings immediate relief from stress but also opens the door to profound personal growth. In this state, you can begin to heal past wounds, gain control over the monkey mind, and start creating a reality that aligns with your true desires and aspirations. This practice empowers individuals to shape their future positively, fostering both mental and emotional well-being.

Who can benefit from complete meditation?

Complete Meditation is particularly beneficial for those with some prior meditation experience. If you can sit still for ten minutes and concentrate on your meditation object or mindfully sit with your thoughts and emotions, you’re ready to explore this deeper practice. The potential for rapid advancement and life-changing outcomes is immense. Clients who engage in this practice often report significant improvements in their mental clarity, emotional stability, and overall life satisfaction. It is advantageous and powerful for mental health workers and people engaged with high emotional stress or vicarious trauma.

Embrace the journey

Meditation is more than a practice; it's a journey toward self-discovery and empowerment. By dedicating time to Complete Meditation, you invite peace, clarity, and a profound sense of knowledge into your life.
