What is your business name and how do you help your clients?

My business is sheIQ Life Pty Ltd.

I am often told how strong and courageous I am with the way I live my life. The truth is, I can absolutely be those things when I need to, but because I deliberately choose to be smart with the way I live my life, I hardly ever need to.

When I was looking for a company name, a close friend showed me that when you put ‘she’ with ‘IQ’ and then add ‘Life’ on the end you get ‘she’ is ‘smart’ with ‘life’ … and that’s how sheIQ Life was born.

Today, every aspect of sheIQ Life is focused on assisting people globally to reconnect with themselves and their community, to re-personalise their life and to establish simple yet highly effective systems that build happiness in every quarter of life. When every individual in a unit learns to be smart with their own lives, collectively the whole unit thrives.

The ultimate aim of the work I do (whether it’s with organisations or individuals) is to create simple, practical and easily implemented steps that allow you to tailor-make the life that gives you health, happiness AND high levels of success.

What kind of audience do you target your business towards?

My audience is anyone who is wanting to take control of the health and wellbeing piece in their life, and is prepared to do a few simple things that can change their life for the better.

I work with individuals, and also organisations, to help them create the solution that’s perfect for them.

For too long, we’ve been taught that we have to rely on someone else to tell us what’s wrong with us, and what we need to do to be ‘fixed’. The reality is, while ever we follow what someone else is telling us to do, we’ll find ourselves off track. It’s not until we take charge of our own direction and make conscious decisions about what is right for us as an individual that we can truly take control of our health and wellbeing AND create a pathway forward that will work for us.

What are your current goals for your business?

Bespoke solutions (whether they’re for an individual or a business) are really the only way forward that will have an effective outcome.

The health and wellbeing of individuals AND the organisations they work for is at a critical state, and I believe that only a personalised plan is going to be able to turn the tide.

But people have been taught that ‘bespoke’ means expensive, and most people believe they can’t afford that kind of solution. So, they turn to off-the-shelf solutions that keep them stuck in the same old way of living.

My focus now is in creating ‘off-the-shelf’ tools and resources that allow people to get hold of the information they need, take it and step into creating the bespoke solution that’s perfect for them.

At the moment, those tools and resources range from books to online programs to corporate programs to specific organisational health and wellness planning kits.

My aim is to bring health and wellness solutions to the fore and make them readily, easily and affordably accessible to as many people and places as possible.

This means that I’ll be able to crush another health and wellness myth: that only the biggest organisations can access the best training.

What would you like to achieve for yourself and your business in the future?

I’ve achieved a lot in a short amount of time.

I wrote my first book halfway through my recovery and haven’t looked back from there.

The next steps for me are expanding the partnerships I have with different organisations around the world to make my work more accessible to more people.

I’m currently in discussions with a large training organisation which services over 500,000 organisations around the world to create a bespoke course for them – one that can be delivered globally by their trainers.

This is a massive step for me, because to date my work has only been delivered by myself; this step will encourage me to step back and allow others to deliver the information. This will require growth on my part – both to let my work fly in the world without me, but also to reformat the programs in a way that doesn’t require me to be the presenter.

I’ll be using this organisation as a test case and then potentially seeking more of these arrangements around the world.

I also currently have my books on review with some of the world’s largest retail organisations to partner with for distribution. Getting these partnerships across the line will also assist me in getting solutions, tools and resources directly into the hands of the individuals who need them.

Who inspires you to be the best that you can be?

Having spent decades trying to be everything for everyone else, my focus now is on being a whole version of myself.

When we drop the drive to try and be better, do better, produce and have better things, we start to realise that all we need is within ourselves.

So, my inspiration to be whole comes from myself.

I know who I AM and I focus on giving myself the things I need for me to be OK as my first priority. I then share the things I learn along the way to help others understand themselves better and to ask themselves questions about what’s right for them.

By making myself the focus, I am always learning, growing and developing in a way that’s perfect for me.

What is your work inspired by?

My work is inspired by watching the light come on in people’s eyes when they realise that there’s a very different way to live, that they’re allowed to live that way AND that they can do it simply and easily.

There’s nothing so powerful as that moment in life when you realise that you can get all the things you want and that you can have them now.

So many of us have been brainwashed into believing that we have to live by a set of rules that work against us. I am inspired every single day by the opportunity to teach people how to recognise those rules, deliberately break them and then forge forwards in a new way.

Every single one of us is a unique, extraordinary human being. Why would we settle for living as squashed, shaped and moulded people who have little to look forward to?

We deserve an extraordinary life that matches the uniqueness of our soul.

It’s not hard to create. It’s easy to live … and it’s a whole lot more fun.

Teaching people how to create that for themselves is the spark that keeps my fire burning every day.

You’re a multi-international award-winner, CEO, author and simplicity expert. Can you tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

I spent over two decades in the corporate world. I was ticking all the boxes, doing all the things I was ‘meant’ to do and achieving great things. I spent every waking minute making sure everyone else was OK, running around and doing all the ‘stuff’ that kept everyone else happy.

But in doing so, I left no room for myself and what I needed … and never once considered whether I was OK.

I drove myself so hard and for so long that my life shattered into a million pieces on the floor around me. In less than 60 seconds I went from being an award-winning executive to on the floor, unable to cope with the basics in life and unable to stop crying.

It took me two years of the most invasive, intensive and overwhelming work to get back to being able to participate in the basics in life. It was a further 12 months of that work before I was able to thrive and be connected to the simple life I lead today.

Piecing myself back together taught me so much about human beings and the way we live – and it taught me an incredible amount about myself.

Using what I learned through the process of healing myself, I now create tools and resources, books and online programs to help others find their way without experiencing the depth of trauma that I went through.

Today, I use the simplicity principles I’ve created to teach people globally how to create the tailor-made life that is perfect just for them.

I dedicate every working minute to showing everyone that there’s a simple and practical pathway to creating a life that is happy, healthy AND highly successful.
