What is your business name, and how do you help your clients?
I am Josipher Walle, a Strategic Digital Business Consultant. As a Consultant, I help clients make sense of their results and create happy customers.
Can you tell us more about your work and how you ended up where you are today?
My journey started in the web analytics section, where I helped my clients measure their results and user journeys. Then, I got my certification in optimization, where I started working with clients to find opportunities to improve their conversion rates. Experience has shown me that focusing on conversion as a primary KPI in your business can be profitable in the short term but can hurt your company in the long term. Since then, I have switched my focus to helping clients make sense of their numbers in a way that creates Happy Customers. I emphasize a human-centric approach to digital marketing, implying a journey that transitioned from traditional metrics to valuing deeper connections and trust in business relationships.
What kind of Audience do you target your business towards?
I work with start-ups or medium-sized businesses that struggle with getting it going or sustainability and are looking for more meaningful and trust-based digital marketing strategies that want to move beyond superficial metrics to forge genuine connections.
What are your current goals for your business?
We live in a world of best practices and tactics. Also, we have AIs that follow the same best practices and tactics over and over. If you want a sustainable digital business, you need a different approach. Hence, I focus on establishing the importance of human connections in the digital space and advocating for a shift in perspective within the digital marketing industry.
Our goal is to help small and medium businesses focus on starting with strategies that prioritize human connections and long-term growth.
Is there something special that keeps you motivated?
Seeing the business get results during our collaboration with clients is always fulfilling. Mentoring my clients or assistants also fulfills me every day. Additionally, Curiosity, learning, and growth motivate me. Any challenge, process, or experience that helps me learn something new or grow makes me wake up ready to take action.
What makes you feel 'out of your comfort zone?' How do you handle these types of situations?
For an introvert, working in this digital world has always taken me out of my comfort zone. I handle these situations through breathing techniques and education, which helps me clarify what to do next. But if you are looking for something to help you handle the feeling of being out of your comfort zone, it is simple: accept that the journey is full of unknowns, and they are there to take you out of your comfort zone, which will help you grow to the next phase in your journey.
Have you encountered any significant challenges during your journey, and how have these affected you?
In every corner of the internet, people are searching for tactics first. Most YouTube videos, courses, or podcasts discuss how to do something and the process. Some people sell you their blueprints.
Metrics indicate the success and impact of a tactic. Additionally, metrics serve as quantitative indicators that provide insights into how well a tactic performs against its objectives, allowing for adjustments and optimizations based on data-driven evidence.
Implementing a human-centric approach in a metrics-focused industry could pose significant challenges. The challenges I encountered made me dig deeper better to understand the business principles of the most successful businesses.
Hence, I advocate for us to switch our focus from tactics to strategy.
