Please tell us about you and your life so we can get to know you better.

I'm Tristan St. Reynolds, someone you could almost put in any field. Most notable for Fitness, writing, acting, and spiritual pursuits. I’ve always “worn a few hats”. I wouldn’t have it any other way. It's nice to have versatility and keep you trying new ventures. I live in Australia, and outside of my creative work, I’m deeply invested in movements such as Yoga and Pilates. I have a soft spot for anything mystical or unsolved, like mysteries, Myth, and folklore. I’m endlessly curious. I am also a bit of a wrestling enthusiast, and I find joy in helping others reconnect with their bodies and inner selves. I'm a bit of a homebody, and usually, I say it how it is if it's called for.

Your work spans acting, writing, and wellness. How do you balance these diverse pursuits, and what fuels your passion across different fields?

All three are expressions of storytelling and connection. Acting brings characters to life, writing explores those more profound internal landscapes, and wellness teaches us to listen to our own stories through the body. Balance, for me, comes through cycles. Some seasons are more physical, others more creative. What fuels me is the shared thread of transformation. Whether on stage, on the page, or in a training session, I'm always seeking that spark to inspire others and grow within myself.

The "Cryptid Whispers Oracle Deck" and companion book explore mythology and symbolism. What inspired you to create this unique, intuitive tool, and how do you hope it impacts your audience?

I’ve always been drawn to Myth, legend, and folklore, those mysterious, half-spoken legends that sit on the edges of belief and realism. Cryptid Whispers was born from that fascination, combined with a love for symbolism and self-reflection during COVID-19 when I was told I could never make an oracle deck. I wanted to create a deck that felt like stepping out of the regular and into something of its own. Then, 2025 was the time to help people better understand what the deck was inspired by and how the meanings landed in the instruction book. Cryptid Whispers The Book teaches us further about cryptids and their legends. I hope it helps people connect to the unknown within themselves, embracing their differences, uniqueness, and power through Myth. There's more to come. Just wait and see.

“Finn Finds Home” is a touching children’s story about identity and belonging. What message did you hope to convey to young readers through this narrative?

With Finn Finds Home, I wanted to create something gentle and affirming for children who feel different or misplaced. At its core, the story says, “You are enough, just as you are.” It’s about trusting that even if you don’t fit into every space, the right space, the right people will find you, and you will find them. It’s a short story, but it gets its point across.

As a fitness professional, your approach integrates both physical and emotional wellness. How do you guide your clients to cultivate a deeper mind-body connection?

It starts with awareness. I encourage clients to move with intention, not just for aesthetics or goals but to really feel their bodies. We talk about energy, breath, and self-talk as much as reps and routines. I like to ground, visualize, and breathe alongside training. For many, their gym/studio becomes a mirror. It reveals where we're challenged, where we're avoiding discomfort, and where we need healing or where we are avoiding it.

With experience in film, commercials, and fashion, what have been the most memorable moments in your acting and modelling career so far?

There’s nothing quite like being on set, the quiet buzz before “action,” the rush of embodying something deep inside. I like the idea of being in front of cameras(I never used to), but some of the most meaningful moments have been the quiet ones - being part of a story that resonates with someone. I am yet to be placed somewhere with real depth. I am usually the villain.

You seamlessly merge creativity, movement, and introspection in your work. What advice would you give to others seeking to integrate their passions in such a meaningful way?

Start by allowing yourself to be true to yourself, even if it doesn't fit in a box. Who cares what other people say about you as long as you are kind and know you are doing the right thing? Follow what lights you up, even if it feels odd at first. Over time, you’ll find the threads that connect everything you are doing, and things will unfurl in your favour. You have to be in a space where you are accepted as you are and not forced into a belief system of anyone, causing you to question who you are, even if it doesn't sit in their teachings. Also, don’t wait for permission. The world needs your unique combination of passions and perspectives.

Tell us about your most significant career achievement so far.

Personally, it's all an achievement. I have always said I aspire to inspire, and I stand by this. My first magazine approval was nice. When I was an extra in the early years, I worked on Unbroken with Angelina Jolie. I have always been blessed but my greatest achievements are far more personal than work.

If you could change one thing about your industry, what would it be and why?

I’d love to see more inclusivity, not just in casting or branding but in storytelling itself. More nuanced characters, more diverse body types in wellness, and more room for vulnerability in all spaces. We’re slowly getting there, but there’s still work to do. Everyone deserves to feel represented and valued. There’s this expectation in Fitness too.. its like you cannot be human. There is a lot of pressure when you are entering into preconceived ideas set in the past.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

A turning point for me was when someone special stepped into my life, someone who made it feel safe to share myself more personally. I'd been vulnerable before, but this was different. I really feel strongly about my opinions but have become more pliable. It wasn't about breaking down walls; it was about softening them. I didn't feel like I had to carry everything or always be the strong one. That space helped me open in a deeper way, and it reminded me how powerful it is to be seen and accepted fully; it was a reminder to not let others push an agenda on me as I watch/watched this same person speak out against injustice and immorality. It's a real reminder, and it’s reinforced how I connect with others now, both personally and professionally. The truth is that if you have faith, things will always work out.
