Nida Leardprasopsuk, Business Consultant & Coach

Who is Nida, can you share with us?

On the outside, I think people have always perceived me to be an overachiever, a superstar, a hardworking, down-to-business type of person. On the inside, however, I have another side. I’m a super-sensitive, highly empathetic, and giving person. People that get to know me on a deeper level will experience this side of me. Benevolence and integrity are values I hold strongly, and it is reflected in my business and what we do.

Growing up and especially in my early adulthood, I always felt that I was very different from others. Not just my personality and what intrigued me but I had this knowing inside me that I was meant to be doing something bigger. I wasn’t meant to be playing small. I was meant to be doing something important. I just didn’t know what it was yet. I was always an expert in psychology and personal development but it wasn’t until I sold my first business and discovered coaching that my life shifted forever. I had found my mission to change the world and I do this through consulting and coaching CEO and entrepreneurs that run expert-based businesses. My goal is to support business owners to disrupt industries with innovative solutions and serve the market at the highest level.

You’ve talked often in your One to Millions Entrepreneur Podcast show about this. What is the biggest problem in today’s expert-based business world and what is the solution for it?

The biggest problem is the lack of innovation in solutions provided by experts and service providers. Most people settle and copy whatever everyone else is doing even when they know it isn’t the right strategy. This is because they are focused on making more sales and doing more marketing instead of focusing on the results clients are getting. The solution is to reinvent, innovate, and create a one-of-a-kind business. Don’t just build a business, create a category like no other. Research customer insight and create solutions that are better than anything out there. Be exceptional and set yourself apart from the competition with a solution that creates the ultimate experience and provides the incomparable results for all (not just some) of your clients.

Nida, what does it mean to create a one-of-a-kind type of business?

Creating a one-of-a-kind business means reinventing and innovating a new category of business with a solution that no one has thought of before. It all starts with innovation and operating your business from a customer-centricity mindset. There was an era where everything was focused on production, then it shifted to sales, then everything was about marketing. But from now on with all the distractions and crowded industries, the smartest sales and marketing strategies won’t be enough. Winning businesses will be the ones that are unique in a way that solves important problems. They innovate and do what it takes to wow their clients with the best solutions. They constantly think about how they can be a business that is uncontested, unrivaled, unforgettable, and irreplaceable.

What are the key elements that make a business one-of-a-kind?

After being in the business world for more than two decades, I have found that it consists of four pillars:

Become World-class – Own a unique, prestigious market position

Become Uncontested – Offer unique solutions

Become Unrivaled – Provide incomparable results

Become Unforgettable – Provide the ultimate customer experience

I help my clients to reinvent and innovate their businesses in a way that builds these four core pillars. In order to do this, they need to operate from a client-centric and innovative mindset. They need to unlearn the rules, beliefs, and limitations they have learned in the past. And that’s why it’s so challenging and impossible for most businesses to do this. Because they can’t see what they are doing when they are in the game when they are in their own businesses and in their own head. Creating a business that is a one-of-a-kind type of business is something that fascinates me.

You’ve talked a lot about cultivating a champion mindset, reinventing yourself, and becoming who you truly want to become. It sounds quite philosophical. Can you speak more about this?

Yes sure. I truly believe your business is a vehicle for self-actualization when you use it to answer powerful questions.

Who do you want to become?

What were you born to create?

What is yours to transform in this world?

I talk a lot about business and entrepreneurship because it’s my expertise but underneath it, all that is important is who you choose to become as a person and what changes you want to create for this world. What is your reason for getting up every morning and doing what you do? What is your purpose? I think when you are able to find your true passion and purpose and you do the inner work required, you become unstoppable. You get to truly live the life you want, a life where you are proud and truly fulfilled. And to become who you truly want to become requires total reinvention of your self-identity. I believe that people who choose to keep evolving into the next version of themselves go through several rounds of self-reinvention. Now of course this work is not easy and not everyone will want to do it. That’s why one percent of the one percent that chooses to do so will need the support system to help them thrive, whether it’s a coach, mentor, mastermind, or network of like-minded people.

You coach a lot of entrepreneurs, what are the main things you usually work with clients on?

  • Differentiation and unique positioning

  • Researching and crafting unique, innovative offers and solutions

  • Innovating the business and creating a culture of customer-centricity

  • Creating more impact and wealth through their business

  • Branding and marketing to high-end audiences

  • How to get the whole team to invest in excellence

  • Building mental toughness and reinventing their self-identity

Entrepreneurs that work with me get my eyes, brains, and heart fully focused on their business and on their life. My work is deeply transformative and highly supportive. We work on everything regarding business strategy, mindset, and personal transformation as a leading expert, CEO, and thought leaders but these topics are the ones that we focus on.

Nida, you’ve been extremely successful with your businesses. What is your ultimate mission and purpose in this world?

My ultimate purpose is to make the world a better place through helping people gain self-awareness and evolve internally and externally, whether through their business or not. I want to help people awaken their truth. Without the truth, you can’t live a fulfilling life. You can’t play bigger, and you can’t get the life you truly desire. Personal development has never been more important but personal development is not just about reading books, listening to podcasts, or attending motivational seminars. It is about having the courage even when you are scared, to face the inconvenient truth so that you can do the inner work. This inner work when done is then reflected in various areas of your life whether business or personal. I also want to contribute and play my part in making personal development and education free in my country. I believe that everyone should have access to this. That’s a decade-long project that will take a lot of work but something I am very hopeful about.

What are 3 main ways you recommend people for real self-development and what is something you’d like to tell people?

  1. Deep coaching Do the work, it is uncomfortable. It is most of the time painful to face your own demons but like my mentor always says, the path to heaven is through hell. Working with a great coach is an amazing relationship like no other that is hard to describe.

  2. Books – I listen to one audiobook per week. Learn from other people’s decades of experience condensed into several hours. I mean there’s no excuse to not do it.

  3. Surround yourself with the type of people you want to become and that means smarter, better people than yourself.

You’ve mentioned the importance of decision-making. How has this been a game-changer for you, and can you share with us some key decisions you’ve made for your business that has contributed to your success?

The ability to make smart decisions is very important in life and in business. The biggest decisions you make in life will be the scariest and most difficult ones. But they are the make-or-break of your life and your business kind of decisions. Maybe it’s a decision to finally leave a 20-year marriage where you were never happy. Maybe it’s selling a business that doesn’t inspire you anymore and starting all over again at 50. Maybe it’s the decision to 20X your fees. It’s about having the courage to leave your old self, your old beliefs, and choose the path that scares you but ultimately leads you to where you want to be. Life-changing decisions that I have had to make in life and in business were always the most difficult ones but they always brought me closer to where I wanted to be.

Some key decision that I have made that has transformed my business is the exact strategy I teach my clients. Some of them were:

  • To go very high end

  • Offer the ultimate solution that was not available anywhere

  • Differentiate my business with innovative solutions

It sounds like you are always excited to find and pursue the next challenge. So what’s next for you?

I’m super clear on what’s next for me. I often contemplate the impact I want to make in this world before my time has come to an end. What legacy do I want to leave behind and all those philosophical things? I have a few things I want and need to do in this next decade.

Reality show

I’ve been thinking about creating a reality show that demonstrates the power of coaching and personal development for the longest time. Because I have witnessed transformation after transformation that my clients have had and of course going through the journey of reinvention and evolving into a better version myself. But only a small part of the whole population knows about this. It’s a secret that shouldn’t be a secret. Most people are busy watching television, reading the news, and paying attention to what other people are doing. These things will never help them fulfill their dreams and have the life they truly want. So I thought to myself how do we get people to know about personal development, I mean to really experience it. And not just what most people think it is. It’s not just reading a bunch of books or listening to motivational speakers. It’s about doing the “inner work” and taking the inconvenient and uncomfortable path that will take you to where you really want to go. I want everyone watching the show to see themselves and what is possible for them through the lives of the people that will be coached by me in the show.

Matchmaking business for highfliers

I had gone through a phase where my local matchmakers said they couldn’t find a good match for me when all I was looking for was a decent partner that would support me on my mission and wouldn’t be intimidated by my ambitions, and my self-esteem, and my success. And I started to notice that I wasn’t alone. There were many successful women and men that were not only amazing at what they do professionally but were extraordinary human beings. They had it all, except the love of their life. Why don’t I match these people up and solve a big crisis we are having here? I know how great love can empower you to be the best version of yourself and how it can give you the courage to do amazing things.

And I wanted to make this happen for others like me. That’s why I created this matchmaking business for highfliers. With my strong background in psychology and relationship coaching and passion for love; this business makes total sense. I will have a lot of fun building and sharing about this business for sure.

Lastly, as I mentioned, I want to ultimately make personal development free in my country and continue my mission to support, inspire and influence elite experts so that they raise their standards and pursue excellence. I want them to see the value and payoff you get from being exceptional and providing deep expertise for your clients.
