Tell us a bit about yourself and your background so far.
After obtaining my Masters in Psychology and accreditation from the British Psychological Society, I got the opportunity to work with clients ranging from senior executives, high achievers, business owners, children and adolescents in London and worldwide.
I have almost two decades of experience coaching neuro distinct groups of all ages, cultural, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have also served as an ambassador of UNICEF and have led mental health seminars for children, adolescents and adults.
With more than 10.000 hours of coaching, my background, experience, access to resources, network and relationships, I am in the unique position to offer a unique approach to help people better their lives.
Has psychology and personal development always been close to your heart?
My life has been about personal development since I remember myself. This curiosity has led me to a never-ending path of learning in order to continuously step into growth.
Why did you start www.annadaphna.com?
We are under serious risk on many levels when there is still today so much unhappiness, inequalities and poor education. In a highly technological, ever-changing, globalised world, people that are wired differently are still treated unfairly and achieve less than their peers.
We stand for, promote and offer equality and world-class coaching to neuro-distinct clients all over the world, regardless of their geography, age group, mental health issues or current situation, so they can live their best life. Our coaching supports mental health and wellness. As a result of the work we do, we would like to prevent further inequalities, unhappiness and we would like to see a happier and more equitable society.
The themes of inequality and mental health and wellness have always been very close to my heart as I have experienced inequality and extreme anxiety and burnout in the workplace when I first moved to London from Greece but also as a teenager when I was sitting the equivalent of GCSEs and A Levels in my country. I was overwhelmed and paralysed with fear to the point that I performed 50% worse than my actual capabilities.
The schooling system failed me, but I became a top learner anyway. I turned to self-education and empowerment through making learning fun and practical and tuning in my inner guidance for direction. I am now more fulfilled than ever to provide life-changing coaching to people who want to do more than what the system or societal structure has told them was possible.
What is it that you do for clients?
The scale of global inequality, low quality education and poor mental health are staggering. Until we give more opportunities for equality, quality education and wellness, we won’t have an equality, quality based and happy world. This is beyond impact. My business helps bring equality and wellness back to life through life-changing coaching.
We do this by helping children, adolescents and adults with a diagnosis or traits of ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, executive function, academic, organisational, mental and emotional challenges to maximise happiness, confidence and performance.
What is something unique about your coaching?
After a long career in education and after seeing from real experience the deep inefficiencies of the standard educational system, I was ready to provide a standout, holistic and results based system that blends education, coaching, mentoring, psychology and self-development.
My unique methodology provides practical solutions and tangible results to one of the world’s biggest problems: inequality, low quality education and poor mental health. I am basing it on neuroscience and empirical based solutions that have been proven to work by myself and many others.
What is your best tip for people who want to do and be more while maintaining a good life balance?
Be grateful for every test you are given and all its challenges, visualise how you want your life to be, focus on what you want to achieve, trust your abilities, take the difficult road and believe in yourself.
Who inspires you to be the best that you can be?
I inspire myself to be the best that I can be through aligning my values with my actions and living a congruent life on all levels. I have had and continue to have great mentors. As a result of this work, I develop fast both personally and professionally. My clients also reap the benefit of this self-growth and development work.
I am fascinated by the work of Dr John Demartini, who I have met in person in London. I am a happy person and I strongly believe in myself, and I want to help others do the same. Seeing how far my clients have come fuels my inspiration in this work.
How will the audience who want to get there faster be able to reach out to you?
The best is to find me on my website or book a complimentary call where I can learn more about you and how I can support you.
