I’ve had visions before, some symbolic, some confirming, some revealing. But this one felt different. It came quietly, yet it spoke deeply. A brown snake, smooth and calculated, slowly slithered down a wall.

The backdrop was all black, silent, cold, and hollow.
It wasn’t chaos.
It wasn’t noise.
It was still.
Too still.
This vision settled heavy in my spirit; it was a warning.
But hear me clearly: it is not meant to bring fear.
It’s meant to sharpen us.
Wake us.
Make us sensitive again.
This is not the time to sleep spiritually, even if everything around us seems still.
The brown snake represents something earthly, creeping, and subtle.
Not loud or obvious quiet compromise, unseen deception, or things we've let slide for too long.
The wall once meant to protect was being descended upon.
A slow breach.
Not explosive, but intentional.
The black background? That’s spiritual blindness.
A place without light.
God doesn’t give warnings to scare His people.
He gives them to realign us. Remind us. Prepare us.
The good news?
Discernment is returning.
Boundaries are being restored.
But we must be alert and humble.
So what do we do?
We don’t panic.
We posture our hearts:
Stay in the Word
Stay in prayer
Stay accountable
Don’t ignore what’s crawling down your wall
Let God check your heart before you check your schedule.
Let Him deal with the little things before they turn into big ones.
This vision may be a warning, but it’s also an invitation.
To guard your gates.
To clean house.
To step into the light with confidence, not fear.
Scriptures to stand on:
1 Peter 5:8 “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear?”
Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
Stay watchful, not fearful. This is the time to rise, not run.
