Hilde Goris, Coach, trainer and inspirator
Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better.
I am Hilde Goris, a proud mom of two children, and I have mostly been raising them as a single mom. I live in Belgium. When not working, you can find me in my garden or near my fire. For more than 20 years I work as a healer and a trainer. I work in self-development and also as a company trainer in connected leadership and soft-skills.
What kind of audience do you target your business towards?
My business is for every human being. Whether my client is a swimming trainer or a company owner, or a whole team, there are obstacles to what he or she is trying to achieve! There is always a reason for obstacles, coincidence does not exist. It happens to you for a reason and when I open the package of the obstacles, events, relationships, or sadness… you will achieve a free flow of energy, and this is my work. Whether it’s in the form of leadership training or a free project for world citizenship or a private healing session, my clients are human beings. After 25 years of experience with individuals and groups, I have so many ways of opening a free flow of energy, I just adapt my speech: from supermagical for kids to extremely to-the-point for leaders!
Who inspires you to be the best that you can be?
I admire Shaolin Master Shi Yeng Hi – when I hear him speaking about really normal things in life, I feel so inspired. Warriorship is much more than fighting. For me, it is: being ‘the monk’, being in nature and alone, listening to what consciousness says during meditations or ritual moments, but also being ‘in the center of all activities and doing what is necessary to bring the right vibes into this world. I try to live that here in Western Europe, participating in my original way in daily life, but also providing for my children. I feel very empowered when I read or hear about Spiritual Warriors. This knowledge is very natural to me, but there are not many people who understand how you could apply it to leadership, teams or other areas of life. That is why I like to hear him talk about it, we seem to be on the same path. It gives me the feeling that I have company, even though I never met him!😊
What is your work inspired by?
I am very connected to nature. When I sing a song, the wind makes the leaves of trees whisper. That happens often to people, but most people don’t perceive it! When I work in my yurt for the individual sessions, all kinds of animals suddenly show up around the tent! They show up and their presence or noises help to restore the flow of life energy in body and mind: horses, cows, deer, mice, grasshoppers, doves, moles and many more have participated in my individual sessions! In-company training sessions I often use nature for my theoretical models, because this helps people stay grounded in their bodies while being at work. They become more energized, more focused ànd more creative. Their bosses like that, of course! (Laughs) But in fact it’s for them: workers will have some energy left for their families when they come home!
Our human nature is connected to the way of being of our planet earth, we are touched by the same universal laws of nature. Effortlessness comes to life when you connect to the universal energy of life. Even nowadays my teachings for leaders are based on the tissue of life, which is a very female but very concrete source of knowledge. I call it Natural Adaptive Leadership – I think trainers should lend a hand to a deeper understanding of the lack of well-being that exists in our corporate life. We should act now as conscient trainers, we should help them out there, because it is in our nature and destiny to care for all those who are suffering and struggling. It is in our destiny to bring understanding and tools to team leaders and their CEO, manager, or director. And the workers àre struggling, but the employers too! There is so much burnout and depression, even hidden.
Tell us about your most outstanding career achievement so far.
The most wonderful thing I did was with my children's project, World Sand. I opened gatherings with shamans from several countries and helped in writing a Manifest for human behavior in harmony with our planet and with our fellow world citizens. But this year something wonderful happened! I was invited to do a peace ceremony with Children in Brussels near the building of the European Commission, and after that, I went to Paris to UNESCO with the World Sand, which children have collected from various countries, and we went to meet Lazare Eloundou, the director of the World Heritage. We met the Director to put the Earth on the World Heritage List! I was there in the name of all those children! To walk into Unesco with a wheelbarrow full of flowers and sand, and to do a little honoring ceremony there… was most wonderful. I am so grateful to have been invited to that special moment!
What are your current goals for your business?
This is a simple question with a quick answer: I am writing a book on female warriors, the calling, the growth, importance and some tools, teachings, and guidance. And besides that, I am promoting my program in Natural Adaptive Leadership, for companies with high-stress levels that have not been able to release the stress from the 3 years of economic stormy circumstances. Natural Adaptive Leadership helps your company to be more versatile and resilient through special ‘Rooting Sessions’.
If you could change one thing about your industry, what would it be and why?
The best trainers are not always those who are best known, and that is a pity. The best trainers spend a lot of time alone. Their knowledge is not based on imitation but is received through cosmic inspiration. Many clients think that you can measure the quality of a trainer or coach by his wealthy life. But is this true? A wealthy life is just a matter of choice. Being in Sync with the universe means also collaborating with nature to install durability on all levels. I mean, why would a person in trouble not have the chance to restore their life because of the high price of a healing or teaching session? Durability in your price setting but also in your daily planning is so important. We are, and by living in this sync with the seven directions every single day and every single moment, in all we do – we are creating the world we want to live in. And this is what a teacher and a leader are. We teach by being, and not by studying how to be visible on social media. Maybe then workers and leaders in the corporate world will understand more of what we are doing, and how we can assist them in change processes by inserting the basic human needs into corporate life!
