Ever feel completely drained, unmotivated, physically and mentally exhausted, or just completely not yourself? Sometimes these feelings can turn up for obvious reasons such as being overworked or experiencing poor sleeping and eating habits. But sometimes, energy shifts happen and stir up unexplainable emotions; feelings of emotional and physical drain.
When we go through an energy shift we will typically go through a time of recalibration and rebalance which can often last for a few days or sometimes weeks.
These shifts can often come in the forms of:
Sleeplessness
Vivid dreams
Heightened awareness
Nauseousness
Extreme sensitive feelings
Food cravings
Lack of energy
Energy shifts hit all the levels of our being. Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
So how do we navigate these shifts? Here are 6 ways to help you get through.
1. Spend time outdoors
Don’t underestimate the power of the sun. Sunlight is essential for human health and well-being. The sun is what gives us life, energy, heat, and existence through nature.
2. Flood your body with nutrients and eat mainly whole foods
Giving your body what it needs is essential to balancing your energy, eating whole foods, taking the right supplements, and ditching as many processed foods as you can.
3. Take time to reflect and journal
Are situations showing up in your life that you would rather not be a part of? Use this time to reflect and see where you can make changes in your life. Often what we see is a reflection of a part of who we are.
4. Tune into your breath and meditate
The breath can be an anchor to the present moment. Spend a few minutes meditating and noticing your breath.
5. Engage in purposeful movement
Make sure you’re taking the time to honor your body's abilities, practice yoga, go for a walk or run, hit the gym, dance, do something to get moving outside of your regular routine.
6. Get support
There’s no shame in asking for guidance. There are so many tools available to you such as EFT, guided meditations, Reiki, and energy healing to help you through these tough times.
We can raise our energy vibration and better connect to ourselves mentally and physically, and better connect to nature and source by eating highly nutritious energetic foods, establishing everyday intentional movement, and eliminating unhealthy thought patterns and relationships. Staying in conscious connection with your mind and body is key to keeping in alignment.
