Tania Murray
Mindfulness Teacher
Tania is the founder of Mindful Way of Life and is committed to helping individuals reduce anxiety and manage overwhelm, guiding them toward greater calm, clarity, and connection. As an accredited mindfulness teacher, she combines evidence-based approaches like Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) with her extensive background in yoga and transformation meditation. She has deepened her expertise by becoming an accredited mindfulness teacher with the UK College of Mindfulness Meditation. This certification, approved by The British Psychological Society, has enabled her to enhance her ability to support individuals when managing stress and navigating their path through overwhelm.
Over the years, Tania has worked with a diverse range of individuals, from three-year-old children to adults in their 90s and loves sharing simple, accessible techniques that help soothe the nervous system and guide individuals from a state of high activity and anxiousness to a place of rest and calm. Working one-to-one or in small groups, her mission is to empower people to build emotional resilience and navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and clarity. Her ability to adapt mindfulness and yoga practices to people of all ages and abilities is one of her greatest strengths.
Tania’s latest mindfulness course Becoming Unstuck: Navigating a Path Through Overwhelm and and her one-to-one mentoring programme, Prioritising Peace: Mindfulness for Everyday Living, provide practical techniques to help individuals stay calm, clear-headed, and connected during busy, stressful times. Her teachings emphasise integrating mindfulness into daily life, offering practices to manage stress, prevent burnout, and approach each moment with confidence and composure.
A firm believer in the healing power of mindful movement, she also teaches slow, gentle yoga that builds nervous system resilience and enhances mind-body connection. Her unique style of energy-centred mindful movement encourages body awareness, calms the nervous system, improves breathing, and promotes self-regulation and resilience. These practices help people release excess energy, prepare the body for relaxation, and deepen their meditation practice. Tania’s approach makes mindfulness and yoga accessible to individuals of all ages and abilities, fostering a sense of balance and well-being.
Looking ahead, Tania is excited to expand her teaching repertoire. In 2025, she will begin working toward her accreditation as a Tai Chi Chih teacher, further enriching her offerings to support others in achieving calm and balance.
In addition to running her business Mindful Way of Life, Tania is an enthusiastic photographer who captures fleeting moments in time as part of her own mindful living practice. Photography allows her to explore the world with presence and curiosity, inspiring others to find beauty and stillness in their everyday lives.
