Death Doula

Stephanie Byfield is a compassionate and dedicated Death Doula, Grief and Bereavement Specialist, and Death Educator, with a deep commitment to supporting individuals through end-of-life transitions. With her extensive experience and empathetic approach, Stephanie provides invaluable guidance, comfort, and education to individuals and families navigating the complexities of death, grief, and loss. Her work empowers clients to face these challenging moments with dignity and understanding, offering emotional support and fostering healing through some of life’s most difficult experiences.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Allied Health Sciences. She is certified as a Grief Movement Instructor, a Grief Recovery Specialist and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychospiritual Studies to further deepen her expertise in supporting those in grief. A skilled public speaker and community outreach advocate, she regularly facilitates workshops, training, and courses that focus on grief education and death literacy.

In addition to her private practice, Stephanie serves as a Board of Director member and a Death Cafe facilitator for the Home Hospice Association (HHA) in Ontario, Canada, where she contributes to the organization's mission of raising awareness around end-of-life care. Through her work, she strives to create space for open conversations about death and loss, fostering a community of support and understanding.
