Silke Tsafrir
MBSR, Mindfulness Teacher & Life Coach
Silke Tsafrir has been interested in psychology and personal development since she was a teenager. However, she initially trained as a foreign language correspondent. During her first pregnancy, she attended a yoga class for the first time and was immediately captivated. Yoga helped her calm her mind while simultaneously building strength and flexibility in her body. Yoga became her direct connection to herself and the first step to change her life.
When her brother tragically passed away over 16 years ago, it completely shook her world. She couldn’t find peace anymore, her thoughts raced constantly, she couldn’t sleep anymore, and she was plagued by anxiety. Knowing she had to manage her job and care for two small children, she realized she needed to regain control of her life. During a coaching session, mindfulness practice and the MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) program were recommended to her. She began practicing and meditating.
Through consistent practice, she learned to accept things as they are, and slowly, her life began to improve.
Having personally experienced the profound impact of mindfulness, she decided to pursue MBSR teacher training. Throughout the process, she learned a lot about herself, which enhanced her ability to understand others. To better support individuals facing their own challenges, she completed a coaching certification last year. It is her heartfelt mission to share her extensive knowledge and personal experiences with others and help them to improve their lives in small steps. Her program also includes Reiki treatments and retreats.
Since 2019, Silke has been self-employed as an MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) teacher, Yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner and coach, offering her courses and coaching sessions at her own studio "Matte & Stuhl" in Stuttgart-West as well as online.
The most important thing Silke has learned through mindfulness practice, and what she wishes to pass on to other women, is that they are always the creators of their lives and never the victims of people or circumstances, no matter how difficult the situation may be.
Silke lives in Stuttgart with her three children and her patchwork family. She has an insatiable thirst for knowledge and continuously seeks personal and professional growth.
