Roger is a veteran of the USAF. After his service, he enjoyed a 35-year career in the airline industry—seventeen of those years were in Oklahoma, where he met survivors of the Tulsa Massacre and of the terror experienced by the Osage Nation. An avid sports enthusiast who loves all sports, Roger plays table tennis, cricket, and soccer. He is also a passionate music lover, especially of jazz and reggae. America Should Be Grateful to Haiti is his first book.

He is an FAA-certified pilot, Airframe and Powerplant technician, aircraft engineer, quality assurance inspector, technical trainer, auditor, and table tennis coach. He began coaching table tennis at the age of fifteen.

Players he has coached often say he didn’t just teach them table tennis—he coached them about life through the game. Colleagues he has taught in aviation describe him as dedicated to their learning, always willing to find answers to their questions, whether he knew them at the time or not.

When speaking, his goal is to deliver stimulating content in a friendly yet passionate style. The audience must be entertained while gaining crucial knowledge that will benefit them.

After writing the book, he recorded half-hour interviews for two digital shows: Muscles and Stilettos and Keith’s Financial Fix. He later appeared four times on The World Tonight news program on BNC, as well as on Prime with Charles Blow on the same network. His most notable appearance to date was a half-hour interview with Dr. Benjamin Chavis on The Chavis Chronicles, which aired on PBS.
