Nicole Kyte
Mental Health Practitioner
Nicole Kyte is a certified mental health practitioner best known for her transformative work in helping individuals overcome anxiety, navigate relationship dynamics, and heal from family trauma. Central to Nicole’s philosophy is the idea that in order for genuine change to occur, we must first reflect inward to understand ourselves. Guiding her clients on a journey of self-discovery, she fosters an environment where vulnerability and authenticity are embraced. Her approach seamlessly integrates acceptance and commitment strategies with cognitive behavioral therapy to challenge clients' unproductive thinking patterns and to empower them to lead a life that is meaningful and significant to them. She teaches clients to trust their intuition and to rely on their personal values and moral code to light the path towards personal growth. As the founder of Reflecting Room Counselling, based out of London, Ontario, Nicole equips clients with tools to tap into their inner strengths and cultivate resilience in the face of life’s challenges. Motivated by her own battles with anxiety and depression in early adulthood, she sought out a career in counselling to offer support to others experiencing similar challenges. It is within these shared experiences that Nicole is able to build deeper connections to her clients and their stories. Rejecting a one-size-fits-all approach, Nicole prides herself on her holistic therapeutic stance, tailoring interventions to suit each individual’s unique needs. Nicole is committed to destigmatizing therapy by offering inclusive and accessible care to individuals from all walks of life. Her vision extends beyond mere treatment; Nicole strives to normalize the human experience, transforming it into a journey of self-trust, self acceptance and learning to just be.Having honed her skills and achieved notable success in her own practice, Nicole recognized the need for comprehensive support within the therapeutic community. Recognizing this need, she chose to extend her expertise beyond individual counseling sessions by offering marketing services to fellow practitioners seeking to establish their practices. With a keen understanding of the unique needs and challenges therapists face, she utilizes her web design skills to support other therapists in establishing a strong online presence, connecting with their ideal clientele, and ultimately growing their practices with confidence.
