Latasha Nicole Phillips
Life Purpose Coach
Latasha and Shawn are both from fairly large families. Both are the oldest in their immediate families. Latasha grew up in a family living in a home with an alcoholic parent. Shawn grew up in a home that was broken once she reached middle school. Both of them also expereienced low socioeconomic statuses that affected their daily lives.
They both are a part of the LGBTQIA community and experienced traumas of being bullied and discriminated against for it. These were catalysts now seen as gifts for both of them to discover outlets that would assist them in alleviating the suffering that was prevalent in their experiences.
Latasha joined the church where she studied and served relentlessly. She sought to become a part of leadership but was denied promotion due to being a female. She was later ostracized from the group. She later joined a community where she was a student of personal development and trained as a leader and life mentor. Shawn found a program that focused on Mindfulness where she received leadership training and certifications for mindfulness and meditation. They both met in 2011 and married in 2019. SoulFlwr LLC was born in July of 2022.
