Kimberly Lisi
Founder, HAI House | Mental Health Futurist | Community Care
Kimberly Lisi is an expert in mental health infrastructure and its place in community care, and the founder of HAI House, a community for healing and integration based in NYC. HAI House was born from Kimberly's own journey of healing and personal growth, driven by her passion to create accessible, brave spaces where individuals can explore their unique paths toward well-being. Through a blend of clinical therapy, group circles, MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction), ceremonial work, integrative bodywork, and community connection, Kimberly stewards transformative healing spaces and experiences, guiding others to discover their inner wisdom and deepen their integration process.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Hunter College, Kimberly is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling and Clinical Psychology at the Spirituality, Mind, Body Institute of Teacher’s College, Columbia University. Her academic background is complemented by extensive certifications in trauma-informed practices, including her work as a certified Reiki Master, Ayurvedic Practitioner, and through psychedelic-informed harm reduction training with the Psychedelics Today VITAL program and the Zendo Project, both of which equip her to support individuals navigating deep transformative experiences.
Kimberly’s dedication to integrating indigenous wisdom into modern healing practices led her to study in the Shipibo-Conibo shamanic lineage of Peru, where she deepened her understanding of plant medicine traditions. She holds these practices in the highest regard, as they form a core part of her work, creating spaces of connection and healing for her community.
As a facilitator and steward, Kimberly is deeply committed to empowering others through the “How to Hear Yourself” process, a personal development approach that guides individuals toward self-discovery and expansion. She also leads a variety of community-centered initiatives including group therapies, energy work, mindful social events, and ceremonial gatherings. HAI House continues to grow, currently in the process of fundraising to open its first physical location in NYC, where Kimberly envisions expanding these offerings to serve even more individuals in need of integrative mental health resources.
